I like the photoshoot a lot! I do think the variants aren’t super good, minus The Black Dog. When it comes to Taylor though, I never trust her visuals (sorry tay). Turning 1989 into a beach album, midnights giving 70’s soft rock, red (og) giving hipster Her visuals are always a bit questionable. That’s why I don’t trust that this album is going to be as deep as the visuals seem to imply

you’re right, but wasn’t the error 321 planned by her team? Because there was also the “red herring” scrambled text; and the DPT:321 like I always assumed her team just edited her website to that page and it was never an actually HTTP error

I feel like that wouldn’t happen until all the re-recording are out like imagine she talks about the re-recording and goes into depth and then just ignores rep and debut

Didn’t she mention writing a book around the Red(TV) era?? I feel like @taco truck could be on to something but instead of it being a documentary it could be an analysis thing where each chapter of the book talks about what the song is talking about? Idk I’m grasping at straws I have no idea what it could be. The Error 321 thing is throwing me off because last time we got that, we got the album announcement hours later least crazy fan theory

I’m with you 100%. I definitely am not thinking it’s rep (tv) or any ‘extra’ album related. I could see it being a deluxe though? Idk I'm not getting hopes high, I feel like with Taylor it’s really easy to clown and then immediately be let down (woodvale, karma album, rep (tv) announcement every other week)

I mean admittedly that’s kinda what I’m assuming it is? The only problem is she already has 4 extra songs tied to the different variants so it’s be impressive if there’s even more songs for a 3:21/deluxe/second ✌album

I have to agree! I do really like the 3AM tracks a lot, but I think that’s because he brings out better lyrics from Taylor, while his production is a bit more samey. I don’t know why she doesn’t have both of them work together more, Hits Different is one of my top 3 Midnights songs and it’s the only song written and produced by all three of them. I do have a feeling the self written songs will be procured by Jack, same as it was for midnights. idk I have faith, but most of my favorite songs on Midnights all have outside help, so knowing it’s all Taylor Jack and Aaron again is a bit of a let down.

oh no i absolutely agree. Everyone was so mad that the crowd wasn't very energetic, but what are they supposed to do while Lana sits in a chair mumbling Bartender I do think both albums had better songs that she could have performed, and I agree she should have shortened them like she did some earlier songs

I have absolutely 0 hype/expectations for the show, and I can't wait to watch it Saturday morning after getting a full, good night's sleep. TBH it's probably not even gonna be the first thing I rust to do (unless of course I wake up and see [SINGLE] Lasso - OUT NOW then it'll be the first thing i do but that's not going to happen)

That's so true!!! PWYC has been done a thousand times, but when I saw her live last year with my husband (who has never seen even a snippet of a show) that was his favorite part and he talked about it for days afterwards. I do think the show wasn't as bad as the initial reaction seemed. A lot of people stayed up super late to watch it, and we were all high on Lasso delusion (and crashed immediately). Watching it and knowing what's in store makes it a LOT more enjoyable.

The only bad part about the variants being at Target is the extra songs won’t be on streaming as quickly as I assumed they would be. we still don’t have Sweeter Than Fiction (TV) on streaming and it’s been 6 months now

It’s funny that people think the woman who has been complaining about fame since Honeymoon is really trying to bring in new fans she said she didn’t care about losing fans, period, way back in 2017 and her actions since then prove her stance. Either you like her for who she is, or you don’t. do I wish the setlist was a bit different? Yeah. But like I said while the show was happening, book Lana get Lana. It was authentically her, and what she wanted to do, even if I cringed the second Bartender/Arcadia/Grants started playing, gotta respect her vision.

Yeah as much as I wanted a song debuted at Coachella, now still isn’t the time. It’s not unusual to get a first single 5 months before the album (LMLYLAW, BB/TB/WFWF) but I prefer shorter pre release. Getting tunnel in December and then the album in March was almost a bit too long of a wait, but is the more typical length. Personally I hope she goes the Billie route, where she announces the album and there’s barely a month wait. also, the album isn’t even announced yet. She’s only talked about it at an event. Once she posts about it, then I consider it announced

day 2’s comments are also flooded about Lana, and that also gives me satisfaction

I know it’s childish/immature of me, but the fact that the entire comment section is people calling them out for not including Lana gives me such satisfaction. how are you going to post about day one and not post about the HEADLINER
