I mean to be fair it was littered with the word ‘Coachella’ so it should have seemed obvious it was just a fun little promo thing for the show but they KNEW what they were doing and I think that’s the frustrating part. to be fair, I guess we were all Delulu to expect her to debut a song from an album she hasn’t even officially announced yet

State Of Grace definitely is a good opener, but …Ready For It will always be my favorite. The way the music starts with the BUM BUM BUM perfectly let’s you know what you’re getting but then again, I think I’ve liked almost all of her openers, minus welcome to New York (sry 1989) and I Forgot You Existed (because why is that the opener to an album called Lover??)

that and the lasso themed website that went live hours before it started with a ‘pinned message’ section I was very very disappointed the night of the performance but I watched it again the next day and liked it a lot more. I get the criticism that I’ve been seeing here, but I also thought it was a super good show and she served so hard

I like this, but I think the Ride monologue/Ride is a really important inclusion. The power of Lana talking about how her dreams were shattered while headlining (one of) the biggest festivals is too powerful to get rid of I’d also keep the outro because it’s very great Gatsby and the trio is produced by her ex

like I said, both are gorgeous but I feel like jack should have been the first guest brought out and she could have changed more mid set so there was more time to admire the second dress

I get the annoyance that target is gonna have all the variants, but at the same time I’m kinda happy about it. Half the hater’s whole point was her hiding songs behind exclusive/limited variants. Despite all that, haters are still gonna hate and this isn’t gonna change anything

I don’t think Taylor’s new album coming out would stop her tbh. It’s not like she does press tours or anything any more I hope Taylor does come, I don’t necessarily care care but it was odd that she showed up night two for jack but not night 1 for Lana

I’m sorry but I’m not blaming FJM for her not singing LTLI. Even if he couldn’t make it for whatever reason, there’s no reason they couldn’t have just played his back track he only does background vocals and has not a single solo line

Like I get playing the more ‘deep cut’ songs (Bartender, Arcadia, grants) at her shows, but for Coachella she really should have done at least Flipside and DMD with their new production, SYTH, and Thunder. Hopefully we get LTLI next week

I think some of the problem is how removed from the older songs she is. All of the songs post 2019 (bartender, hope, Chem, tunnel) she seemed more into which makes sense, some of these songs have been out for 12 years now and probably written 13/14 years ago

After the high expectations of last week (and the inevitable crash) I’m saying 0% that way, if it changes even slightly it’ll be a nice surprise. I think if the set list changes at all it’s gonna be the featured sections that change and that’ll be it

Tbh I’m even wondering if she’s gonna have guests next week? Or if it’s gonna be the same guests? Getting new guests would completely change the back half. Candy Necklace, the candy necklace interlude, ocean eyes, video games, and hope is a dangerous thing would all change/be put in different places. unless my theory of act 1 this week and act two next week comes to life, but I really don’t see next week being significantly different
