I definitely enjoyed the show a lot more this morning, knowing what we were getting (and what we weren’t getting) and not being on hour 17 awake. I really do wish she would have sang more, but watching it back you can tell her microphone was messed up the entire time and every time she tired to sing it sounded really messed up. Plus the videos I’ve seen from the crowd she sounds a lot better so it’s possible some of the sound issues were livestream related! now that we know what to expect, I think week two is going to be received a lot better

of course there isn’t. All these wanna be stars jump on hate trains for clicks, everyone was hating on Lana at the time so of course she jumped on it too that said, I highly doubt Lana’s team asked her to join the stage. “Still played my song” girl no she didn’t she used a remix of your song and her song that’s been on YouTube for years now pls quit lying

manifesting her mic working so she can actually sing. She tried so hard week 1, but everytime she put any kind of power behind her voice the mic fucks up.

Yeah Coachella really fucked up. Every single time she tries to actually sing, the mic glitches. When she was singing with the background singers for The Grants, despite there being 4 of them, you can still clearly hear Lana's mic issues

It shouldn't be their problem to fix. This is a Coachella issue that they need to fix

god this rewatch is making me so mad for her. you can TELL she's trying so hard to sing during Chemtrails, but that fucking mic issues is throwing her off so bad. Every time she raises her voice it fucks up

Yeah this rewatch is definitely highlighting how absolutely terrible the mic issue is. PWYC, Ride, and now Bartender all have super bad issues the second she tries to go high. Then, she asked for Byron to be turned down 1 and if anything he sounds even louder. Hopefully Coachella will get their shit together next week. Like yeah she's not serving the energy I wish she would, but she couldn't even perform the way she wanted to because the second she tries to use her voice the mic fucks up

after re-hearing PWYC and Ride, there is very clearly mic issues. Both times she really tries to sing, there is some terrible mic feedback/glitch and right after it happens she just stops

Opening with Jealous Girl just to bait and switch to more than half the set being all piano ballads is very on brand of her. I think the setlist was hypothetically fine, but the order is a bit messy. I do think instead of Bartender she should have done The Greatest, VB (shortened) or CG. The Grants, Tunnel, and Arcadia all should have been switched out though. I know her set list hasn't changed much but to open with Jealous Girl into Without you into West Coast into Doin Time really made it seem like she was going to switch it majorly up, but those were the only 3 differnet songs

The intro is probably her most iconic ever, and she looks absolutely stunning. Her dress and makeup are perfect!! The complaints about the vocals are completely valid, she is singing a bit more than I remember, but the backtrack and background singers are doing the heavy lifting, and it's not like Lana is running around the stage or exerting a lot of energy... there is clearly sound issues though, because she both asks Byron to be louder one song, and then to go lower a couple songs later..the sound techs clearly had no idea what the mixing should have been

I hope they do shower her with praise, but there is a difference between "negative" and "Disappointed" a lot of people (myself included) stayed up for this, and it does seem a BIT underwhelming. She looked great, and started out so strong, but vocally, whether or not they were from mic issues or in her head issues, simply weren't good and missing for more than half of the songs. She absolutely could have eaten her background singers up, but she didn't. The back ground singer hit the high note every single time. Was it a good show, absolutely. Was it not the best? also absolutely. When we can sleep on it/think on it, it probably won't be seen as so bad, but right now it is a bit disappointing. Expectations were ungodly high, but I think deep down we all knew that

she could have at least changed up the production a biT. Diet Mountain Dew on tour was INCREDIBLE and it is both more well known and more upbeat than half of what she played
