I can’t even pick a top three or five! Every replay I find myself drawn to different batches of songs Ordinary things Imperfect for you Bye true story supernatural All consistently hit though, so that’s probably my top 5 in no particular order

i like it too! But it breaks up the flow of the song, and she already has an intro that’s a minute and a half and an interlude that’s both someone else speaking and is 40 seconds. I feel like nonna’s part being it’s own thing at the end (like a 35 second outro) wouldn’t have felt as out of place as it being tracked onto a full song

watch yourself Ordinary things is one of my favorites! I just wish the Nonna spoken thing was it’s own Outro song. I wasn’t super feeling the album last night (I think I had higher expectations of the album building up) but I really love the mellow vibes. The production sounds rich, full, and EXPENSIVE. I’m also really glad she explored songwriting on this album. Such a true progression from “write my own checks like I write what I sing”

It has some really strong songs but it’s pretty chill compared to her other pop albums I’m also not a huge fan of Pharrell’s productions

Chemtrails had ELEVEN. Of those 11, there where only 3 different covers (the original, the Neil alt, and the limited edition wolf cover) A less extreme of that is Tunnel, which still had six. Right now, Taylor is tied with Blue Banisters, which also had 4 different variants, which I think is a good number. Plus, this is 4 extra songs that fans are ultimately getting. The only people mad about this are people who are mad Lana doesn’t do the same thing. (Because I know if Lana did this for Lasso the mental gymnastics everyone here would go through to justify it would be exhausting)

I think the Black Dog cover is tied with the OG cover as my favorite! They both give the same vibes, but Black Dog’s back cover I think is a bit better. I also better see everyone in here who’s been complaining about variants every time they’re announced keep this same energy when Lasso is announced and has at least 4 variants with no extra songs.

Midnights definitely feels like a breakup album in hindsight, but honestly every album since Lover and onwards has felt like a toxic off again on again relationship that needs to end

me with both folklore and evermore tbh. I enjoy a handful of songs from both albums (and actually enjoy individual Evermore songs slightly more!) but there are a lot of songs I haven’t gone back to since the album came out

Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever listened to and fully connected with it I know the bridge, and I like that part, but this song is in the same vein as The Archer, where I have not even a slight desire to listen to it again
