this song reminds me so muchhh of this movie as a whole. the lyrics being about avoiding and trying to hide away from someone or something with bad or even evil intentions. the slow heavy drums reminding me so much of the soundtrack, along with the screaming reminding me of so much of the actual shrieking and screaming that takes place in the film. I fear i will have to make an edit to the movie once the song is in HQ.

this song was made for a very specific audience and if you get it, you get it, and if you don't, you don't!!!

WOW i love dealer... it gives me major twin peaks fire walk with me vibes and i think once we have it in high quality a lot of y'all will like it much more. the version on dbree is obviously LQ and compressed so I can't wait to hear it in all its HQ glory. -

i never meant to be bad or unwell
i was just living on the edge
right between heaven and hell
and i’m tired of it

also i feel like wild one might have been a more fitting choice than nectar / color blue / wild on you, though in my opinion it would definitely benefit from a lyrical rework with some minimal things changed about the production. but melodically it sounds like it would fit with songs like text book perfectly! i do like nectar quite a bit but to me it does kinda sound demo-ish and a bit unfinished. hoping it’s one she potentially reworked !

finally remembered my password so now i can be active on this thread ? so unbelievably excited that living legend found a home on an album. i wonder what version of it we’ll get or if she completely reworked it.

not to b corny... but it feels like with every passing album she gets closer and closer to making the record that she truly wants to. this album truly feels like its coming from a grown up Lizzy Grant, but Lana is still a part of her. something about this record feels very... real to me so far. it reminds me of my own life and my own experiences kinda. namely the snippet of arcadia makes me feel like the song was made 4 me. haha i know its corny or whatev but so much of what we have of the record so far reminds me of my childhood and certain summers and its bringing out a part of that i thought i would never get back. very happy 4 wednesday <3

have been stalking this thread on my phone daily, but cant remember my password so i cant login there. however, this recent news is so promising im so excited shes feeding us!!! literally yesterday i was telling my sibling about how fitting I thought Living Legend could be on this album, and then the very next day I hear its confirmed to be on it! Living Legend is in my top 3 of Lana's unreleased songs and it's one of my favorite songs she's ever done, and I really REALLY hope she plans on leaving in that vocal guitar effect at the end because its gorgeous, beautiful, and just stunningly wild and her putting it on the record would really say a lot about how little she cares about pleasing people. Also excited for the rework of Thunder, which is another favorite of mine, but after hearing that piano intro edit that plastiscguy did, I am even moreee excited. I was honestly starting to get really bored of the era for quite a bit, but since Arcadia is coming out so soon, and it sounds even more gorgeous than some of even my favorite Lana songs, I couldn't be more thrilled. Kinda secretly hoping that there's a slight rework in Cherry Blossom and/or Nectar, but even if not, I'm still beyond excited for Blue Banisters to sit somewhere in the top 4 or 3 of Lana's album discography!

true but both that album and the singles were quickly discarded by Lana and when an artist moves on so quickly from their work the way she's been doing, it makes the release period just feel a lot less fun :/ I know the music is all that matters in the end, but I really do miss the way she used to promote her albums. Even if it wasn't the best promo in the world, it always held a certain nostalgic fun that I miss dearly. The Honeymoon and Lust for Life eras as well as the beginning of the Norman era (when she released MAC and VB) were all so much fun. She had an entire hold on my life in those days.

i barely even check this thread anymore
Lana never does anything to keep her fans fed anymore these days

im so underwhelmed by this pre-release unfortunately :/ i just wish she gave chemtrails more time to breathe. i get covid fucked up the era and everything but I'd be lying if i said i didn't miss the days of the honeymoon and lust for life eras where my entire life was centered around what she was doing.

I would say for a song that is set to be on a major artist's album release it is pretty experimental and out there.
