Wow. Lana is legit REALLY supporting agriculture. I haven't been gone long cus like lol I have no life but my pessimism is coming out with that last post. I think at this point even if just a song comes on the 4/5th I won't listen cus im sort of committed to a full album immersion, unless she releases past September which like, come on now. Im off Friday and dont work till 6 on Saturday (pandemic hours are SPARSE) so here's to full blown delusion until then. This fall is my first alone in some time so I really need some music to set a new path here. Please come through my queen

Maybe her releasing the album on a Saturday wasn't a miscommunication, but rather an act of rebellion - and symbolic in the sense that it is redemption for Saturday Night Live in 2012, which can be coupled with her Question for the Culture post. Also, with the album's strategic release date being redemptive of SNL, it also ties in with Tulsa Jesus Freak when we interpret redemption as a biblical thing.  Also note Jack tweeting variants of "take the sadness out of Saturday night" - teasing Lana lyrics that deal with her feelings regarding the whole SNL debacle and its unfortunate attribution  to her image early on in her career? The decision to release the album on a Saturday would be really clever on her part for the aforementioned reasons.

 

Sheridan said "3 days and 4 midnights to go" - maybe that means one thing is coming once 3 days have passed (August 26, 27, 28) and once 4 midnights have occurred (August 26, 27, 28, 29). The album could be coming on Saturday, August 29th then. Sheridan's post made it seem like it was a surprise planned with his use of emojis - what better surprise than an album that Lana said she wanted to release as a surprise! It would also line up with NFR's 1 year anniversary and then qualify for the 2021 Grammy's, which could also be Lana's way of saying that no matter what kind of album she releases, her music is of a very high calibre, which again, relates back to the Question for the Culture. 

 

Call me delusional (which I probably am), but we know Lana Del Rey loves a good full-circle, super metacognitive and metaphorical moment - well, this could be it!

I stay up till midnight every Thursday just to hear what the world has to offer and legit expect NOTHING so i won't be any more heartbroken than I am. Not over Lana, that beautiful star can take all her time, more in general. Hell im probly rocking to Blackpink and Selena tonight to try to cheer myself up, got stuck on Delacey while feeling down; but the promise of new Lana...at some point...is scintillating. Just ran through Honeymoon 2 days ago and damn that aged like wine. She really is the ultimate babe. Here and waiting whenever you gas station L.A. angel

I second this. I wish her all the success possible but at the same time we all know she does not give a damnnnnn. Regardless she'll have the #1 on the alternative charts and whatnot, and this one will have LONGEVITY because we haven't heard a single hi def beautiful second.

HOWEVER, I did just remember that Zella Day has her EP drop on Friday and it would be real weird for Lana to steal that thunder. On the flipside though, Zella has basically already released all but one song from that ep so maybe she won't care if her Glamorous friend makes some money too

Im supremely jealous of you,, but absolutely theatre family sticks together. Also Precisely one of the main factors as to why i need miss Del Rey to come through. Lord that took me so long to catch up, yesterday was my first day back at my job after being shut down forever (movie theatre here) so I can't stalk and stan with you all as much as I'd like! However, if I may, THIS. IS. IT!!!!!!!!! To make everything more serendipitous, Friday I inexplicably have off, our first day of guests. Manifesting me relaxing on top my car friday night, seeing blinking planes soar to their destinies while Lana finally fills us in on this Jesus freak in Tulsa. Let's do thisssssss.

I was here when "the post" happened, and have been quietly observing since. First off I do believe that convo happened, and second im sad beyond all belief but am still holding out hope. Alot of hope. Shes coming through for us. I discovered Lana when I needed her most and those times are back in my life and she's coming again. She's just gettin ready, putting her shoes on and whatnot (for real if this doesn't happen i will be shattered)

Actually if it was just recently uploaded I would think that would almost definitely assume a delay. Being uploaded awhile ago means shes just playing the game shes been playing this whole time my stupidly hopeful interpretation of a field I know nothing about:)
