    WOW!!! Holy shite who else is listening to Holocene!? Fuxkin hell I am so deeply into this, Weyes harmonizes so perfectly with anyone she works with, and Zella is really going in with these picturesque lyrics. F*CK :angie:

    I love the new stuff haha, Only a Dream is one of my favorites from her. But yes, her style has changed quite a bit. But she seems really happy with it and lets be DAMN SURE that I have a bottle ready for midnight tonight and Holocene's release. Its always a (solo) party here :dance::dorothy4:!!

    She had done an interview towards the middle of summer I think where she said the worlds civil climate wasn't right to release music into, as in trying to promote an album and sales when people are fighting for their right to exist, but its been some time since that interview. I think we could all use some Aurora in our lives now. And also Exist for Love is one of the top songs of last year for sure!

    What spicy taste! Thats quite a film. I just got back from seeing Matteo Garrone's Pinoccio and Nomadland. Pinoccio was unfortunately dubbed as they went the family film route here in the US, but it was enchanting and revolting simultaneously-and the woman who played the Blue Fairy is just a stunning woman, my God. Nomadland was shattering. I anticipated a travelogue on American tundras and deserts, and was given a beautiful rumination on death itself, and what we do in our time till we meet that day. As said in the film-theres no final goodbye, just, "I'll see you down the road". Exceptional work (idk if Nomadland counts as Indie but besides the incredible Francis Mcdormand and David Straitharn, everyone else is newcomers) Pinoccio f*cked me up. There was a Tuna with a serious breathing problem and it terrified me (bad asthma here) but it was fantastic. long live film of all kinds! ;)

    Wow, that was intense. Firstly, it sucks to see her this distraught, she should be allowed to celebrate with us! Secondly, she talks almost exactly like me in the sense that when something is really on your mind, it becomes this stream of consciousness bounce around, including different topics but still makes sense in the end, so I was on that wavelength. Lastly, she put periodt on this with that fuck you.

    Sound of Metal. Free on Amazon Prime about a metalhead drummer who goes deaf and has to come to terms with his new reality. I absolutely expect it to be nominated for Best Picture, Actor, and Supporting actor. Beautiful and inspiring yet gritty and real-no lifetime moments here. Shines an incredible light on the deaf community and I was in tears by its perfect ending.

    She can figure skate!?!?! I....omfg what song could this be for? I truly can't think what the aesthetic this would fit. Dark but Just a Game? As in the Olympics? Or, staying with Dark-shes going full blown Beauty and the Beast ice skating scene since she's looking a TON like Belle lately. Either way, a string of wins on the way!!

Just dropping in here to quickly say on miss Polachek-never listened to her before, but was craving ANYTHING NEW (side eyeing American Standards and Classic so hard) so I put on Breathless as I was cleaning.
