from the help of @violets, i discovered an additional source code on Lana's website. This one is under the media tab of her shop, rather than just the general shop,

"Shop Lana Del Rey albums in CD and vinyl formats, including 2019's Norman Fucking Rockwell, and preorder her upcoming 2020 release Chemtrails Over the Country Club."

    .............................for realsies?

  2. @takeitdoen beautiful write up! Salamander is fantastic as it starts so dramatic, the warbling lo-fi voice a drastic left from her soothing words in previous poems, but its absolutely tongue-in-cheek yet somehow slightly scathing in her take down of the critique of her own thoughts. The outro music has a sense of playful doom as she evokes the Greek Gods, like a plank walk between the windy ridges of the grand canyon. Her authenticity always shines in her winks, and in LA Who am I to Love You when she says "I'm quite good on the stage, you might have heard of me" its so charming you can hear her smile. Also agree with you on the replay value. I've listened probably 7 times now in full, which is the only way to listen properly. Its a full immersion into her head and heart and definitely isn't something I just put on for a song or two, but a full sit down is an exercise in soul searching which can be exhausting. Here's to an incredible follow up with Beyong the Iron Gates

  3. So its become hard for me to listen to Sportcruiser. The entire first part in the studio apartment with yellow petals as their view. Terrible you, which was unfortunately me in my situation. Its alot to take in in a moment of introspection, one I don't want to make cus i know I sucked, and I honestly thank God it becomes a more specific tale to who she is and what her fears are. I adore Violet and its such a  great listen and I usually refuse to skip tracks, yet Sportcruiser drains the happiness from me, even though i can never help but smile when she's so taken that no one on the dock cares who she is. Its the albums masterpiece, but if im just trying to vibe it seems it may have to become a skip. The most affecting piece she has ever written and it turns out I literally wasn't prepared for it.

I really want a Venice Bitch or California 2.0, it's really all I want omg

I literally measure time in Venice Bitch. "How long did it take for you to get here?"

"Oh only 3 and a half Venice Bitches." Honestly its a forever track to me, so if she goes for any sort of sequel I hope its within Venice's range. It was 2nd best on NFR and I hope after all the critical success there she just lets it rip and forms songs on Chem however she sees fit. Imagine a 10 song album but each song averages 7 minutes? Do we hate that? A Lana jam fest album? I do not haha

  5. Yall...this forum makes noises now! Damn near jumped off my couch, thought a Predator was taking aim or something. Anyway on topic, I feel like i got myself too hyped up. I woke up today with a feeling that nada was gonna happen, and here we are. Im still SO excited for it, but will be laying off the "manifestation" haha. I get so excited, and im enough of my own disappointment to take more haha. Also this site looks great now. Dear God it made a sound again! Anyway track #8 will be the best on the album, not manifesting just stating facts.

  6. Chemtrails Over the Country Club: Inland Empire

Not that horrifying distorted face at the end! I love anything Laura Dern but Inland Empire was one of his most opaque in my opinion and very long. I think Lana is here to emphasize the exclamation point on NFR and really go in to a specific aesthetic and idea. It will be Elephant Man, accessible but bizarre and stunning. Also I stand by my prediction that we're desert bound again. But Lana and Lynch are a match made in celluloid heaven as we know.
