You know just to take our collective minds off of cocc for a minute I was wondering if you too guys associate Lana’s records with particular months of the year rather than seasons? 
For me COCC is shaping up to be her October record, full blown Autumn shit.

- BTD is June, beginning of summer, lots of bangers, mild nostalgia, living wild.

- UV is somewhere around January, cold, grey and angry.

- HM is July/August, total summer ethereal oblivion 

- LFL (a mistake)

- NFR definitely September, end of summer but still close enough to reminiscent

what do you guys think?

No no Delulu King is wrong, we will not manifest a country album. It's been done before. That ship sailed two years ago. We don't want a Lana record to "remind" us of something that someone else did before. This is literally Lana's job. She does things that people will copy years later or things that no one else is doing or did. And that is why L4L gets the hate it gets. To be honest all I am hoping for is that we get something that stands out. That is why I was not impressed with the TJF snippet. It was just like meh, we've heard this before.

This will be the first and last time I will be a negative Nancy about the record but all that talk about soft feminism and the fact that TJF sounds a bit basic, I don't know, I just want her to hit me in my feels, I don't want to be tickled. I guess I feel like I've always connected to Lana's music on a personal level because I was mentally kinda where Lana was mentally when she released the music, but now I feel like she is in a place that I am not. 

I want something that will make me go wow when I hear it just like I did when we went from BTD to UV to Honeymoon to L4L to NFR. 

I pray the gods we are not getting any L4L 2.0 trappy typa shyte because that would HURT. The only trap I'm willing to accept at this point is if Lana pulls a Portishead on us. Or if she just goes full psychedilc and blows my brains out of the universe.

I have two questions though.

Question 1 :  in her Insta video Lana said she's on the set for the title track - does that mean there will be a track called chemtrails over the country club or do people use title track as a synonym for lead single? I'm not a native English speaker 

Question 2 : does anybody know anything about what let me love you like a woman is going to sound like?

Lol no I’m merely stating that we have got lots of time on our hands to make up theories and whatnot - she is probably busy and it’s not a massive deal to her to announce a delay the day before the supposed release date. It was just a post after all. Not like the pre-orders are up with a release date.

it’s seriously fked up if she doesn’t address the date she gave us if it is indeed changed. Is she obligated to do so? No, not at all, but would it be the decent and respectable thing? Absolutely yes.

But the thing is I’m not even sure she remembers that. I mean, would you? Personally, if I were a celebrity with a busy life and deadlines and music to make etc I cannot guarantee I would remember that I mentioned a release date in a post 4 months before. 
And even if she did, all her socials would probably be bombed with nasty msgs about not releasing the record on time as she had mentioned and again if I were in her shoes I would probably mention it one or two days before. Nobody likes that type of stress. 
Having said that, I’m getting a cool and interesting vibe from the posts so we’ll see.

Let's stay positive. I checked Lana Instagram posts from last year before she dropped the FIILY and TG mv, she had been posting random stuff from touring and her personal stuff for a while before going completely off the radar for like three entire weeks (obviously shooting the mv). After that radio silence, she posted a bts picture with the bodybuilder guy. The week after that picture she announced the record. Then the trailer was up and right after that we had the FIILY and TG videos. 

So I'm guessing they're shooting and working on the mv now and we will most likely get no news for the next few weeks (we are only gathering info from other people's posts, never from Lana herself). In a week or two we're going to get some random pic or vid or livestream about the music videos and the album announcement, which also makes sense with the October delayed release date.

The silence is frustrating but I will take it as a sign of good news to come. We just need to let it go for a while, something will happen in a week or two, for sure.
