That reminds me I’ve never purchased a Lana vinyl. Hm.

I’m not saying she cares a lot, but she definitely cares. I just think it’s an easy cop out to be like “oh she doesn’t care if she sells 1k she’s only in it for the music” like be serious.

She has almost always acknowledged her first week sales/position on the charts. She’s been proud of her number 1s. Her team has discounted her albums to secure the number 1. If you’ve been around, you know this. Actually real real fans know that some did ship out during the first week and when they did ship out they only contributed, like, 8k sales LOL. So the album still wouldn’t have done well. (Also I’m only kidding about the real fans part y’all don’t take me seriously ever.)

Real fans know Lana does indeed care about sales.

Wait, why did Ecl*pse say High by the Beach would be important at a later time when he initially teased the album? The way we all forgot about that. Hm.

Imo, chart position doesn’t matter, but sales do. I hope she pulls 60k on the lower end, 75k on the higher end. I don’t care where she debuts on the chart, as long as her sales aren’t abysmal like Blue Banisters.
