    65th GRAMMY Awards

Terrible. Never watching this again (unless Lana’s nominated).

    Any other “big” performances or…

    65th GRAMMY Awards

That was fun. We needed Uzi on a Lana track in 2017.

Love Kacey even though her last album was garbage.

Renaissance wasn’t nominated, was it? In that case I agree.

I’m no HS fan but he had the best album out of that group imo.
  8. I really don’t see her inviting her makeup artist over to watch the Grammys like… 😭 I predict an after party or something ✨
  9. Not to be delusional but why would Lana be watching the Grammys IF there was nothing involving her? Hm… something’s happening tonight y’all. OR she’s going to an after party.
  10. Her IG story she posted with her makeup artist (but I also exaggerated a bit)
  11. White Dress as in her best song post-2019? Yay.
  12. Oh yes, Jack is the king of world building. It’s like he actually listens to what Lana’s trying to say and complements that with the production. Love the meandering, eery quality that COCC’s production evokes ✨
  13. As an example, this instrumental (produced by Jack Antonoff) sounds unmistakably like a Lana instrumental, it’s crafted around the lyrics: Whereas this just sounds like a random melody, there’s no Lana atmosphere to it: BUT, I’m hopeful to see what Drew brings to Tunnel. I hope he proves me wrong but I’m just not sold on him yet.
  14. I appreciate Jack for building production around Lana’s lyrics. In my opinion, Drew and Lana don’t mesh well. I’m sure he’s super talented, but I’ve never enjoyed a Lana song because of Drew Erickson’s production if that makes sense.
  15. Since I have time today: * Black Bathing Suit is one of my favorites on BB, but I actually feel like its production is its biggest fault. It sounds messy, like throwing stuff at a wall and hoping it sticks. * Dealer is simply ok. It’s popular because of the iconic “I don’t wanna live,” but I don’t think it’s a notable song in Lana’s discography. * I do like Text Book actually so there’s that.
  16. That the production isn’t built around her vocals and as a result they aren’t synced. This is the biggest problem I have with Drew Erickson’s production and Beautiful is the best example of this.
