Agreed. But they could've also been referring to her using the same cover art edited in three different ways lmao. Regardless I feel like Lana knows her audience well and knows what she's doing. I can't see her just releasing an album without a proper lead single.

With HM, Norman and Chemtrails she released buzz singles prior to the lead single (Honeymoon title track released on YT, Marines and Venice initially being called cute summer songs, LMLYLAW released w/ a homemade MV). I feel like she has a bigger single + high budget MV coming. Maybe the "I can't believe she's doing this" was referring to something we don't know yet.

Not caring about aesthetics ≠ greater artistic integrity. Stripped back production ≠ better music. I mourned BTD-HM Lana a long time ago but I can’t help but miss the heavy reverb, the strings, the dreamy/psychedelic production. I love NFR and Chemtrails is good but it felt like Norman but worse. These new songs are great lyrically but I can’t help but feel like they deserve better production and better vocals.

I thought the lyric was “hospital stints still on my feet.” Like because of the abuse she experienced she still is in and out of hospitals/treatment centres even in her adult life. I could be wrong though.

I’m sad Lana’s not on the Primavera lineup. Tyler and Beck are still headliners but Lana isn’t... wonder what happened.

Yes Lana’s lyrics are very Lana if that makes sense. No one does it like her. Tay is very technical and is a good lyricist but kinda vanilla imo.
