  1. Underestimate what exactly? The songs I said would flop bombed. Such as how the Ocean Blvd title track was a flop when I heard it. People in here celebrating its early streaming numbers . Now crickets. The new version is a huge bomb, I’m sorry. And you’re severely underestimating the general public. For example, Doin Time wasn’t a hit until Lana recorded it. People can and will like a specific version of a song. Without You by Mariah? Harry Nilsson’s version was a flop. This version is not a hit. I’m more baffled how they wasted their time doing a sped up version too .
  2. 20? The video that was pulled had over 60 million views. This new version won’t even get 1/10th that lol .
  3. Well, good luck with that. The original demo (James Ford slightly sped up version not the Honeymoon version) went viral because it’s the version people loved and everything about it was the reason it became so mainstream and popular. It wasn’t the smartest business move to tweak and alter it as much as Lana and her team did. People expected that specific version with the drums and all to be released, not a watered down version that clearly lacks in comparison. It’ll smash as hard as BAR and Thunder.
  4. The lyrical changes also bothered me . The first one end on MIND is so much more poetic. I don’t know how to explain it, but it feels more like a definite end to the song. The switch up from Eye to Mind is needed. It’s done so to avoid too many repetition. It just anchors the song. Why did she change this? Baffling. They made the song slower, more boring, and more repetitive .
  5. If she plans to release more unreleased songs, please for the love of god stop touching them. Just release a high quality version to official platforms and that’s it. We don’t need more butchering of the songs we loved.
  6. I forgot to talk about the cover. It’s a choice, but at this point I’m not surprised anymore. The song has a lavish heavenly sound and deep lyrics. The cover looks like a parody. It’s like she’s making fun of people listening to the song.
  7. Yeah, I don’t understand. They did a sped up version and everything for this untested unknown version 💀. When this bombs, it’ll be such a kii. Another showcase of her team stupidity. What’s the point of keeping the actual hit locked up (James Ford version)? The gp already chose the hit.
  8. The released version sounding more like a demo than the unreleased version. A mess . They turned the hit into a sappy album track. This will bomb. This is unfortunately what her music is like now. She’s definitely lost her ability to hear hits. James Ford is still the best version. They really should have just officially released that version.
  9. It better be “Yes To Heaven”. “Say Yes” is so ugly .
  10. Now do we think the Instagram comments have affected this video? Or was this her vision all along? What happened to the Black Dahlia video? Only asking because Lana has a history scraping and shuffling videos (last minute changes ). West Coast video were supposed to be much darker with prominent death scenes of drug abuse but was changed due to her “I wish I was dead” interview. Ultraviolence kool aid cult video was scraped in favor of the self shot video.
  11. Ajay looks different. Did she get veneers? I’m curious to see her reaction to the album.
  12. It’s not this album. Most popular songs are broad and relatable to a large audience. Also not Lana specific but in general lol. When she starts naming her family in a song, you know immediately that it’ll tank. She should’ve name dropped herself more in her own songs tbh. It would still be really personal but also recognizable to a lot of people. That’s why “This Is What Makes Us Girls” ate because of the “Lana” mention. And Elvis, James Dean, Angelina = icons that people know >>>> Chucky . It would’ve smashed if it were Chucky the doll, but it’s not..so
  13. Oh, gagged. I actually like the censor. It’s a statement for sure, but I do wish they put the “Parental Advisory” label on the nips instead of the blur .
  14. I’m not mad about the numbers tbh. I’m fuming because it’s going to be an inferior version to the James Ford version. Tbh, I don’t even know why I’m mad because we all know most of her demos >>> final. Let’s start with Pink Champagne. Let’s talk about that. This will unfortunately fall to that category and I’m FUMING. I hope I’m wrong and this new version is somehow miraculous the best version.
  15. This is borderline perfect. Why mess with what’s been going viral? The new version better have an equivalent of this part 0:47.
  16. James Ford version is almost perfect. All they need to do is speed up her vocals a bit like they did with Diet Mountain Dew (final BTD version) vs Demo and some extra boom/drums/instrumentation during the final climax of the song. Something along the lines of the high pitched synth on “West Coast”. It would elevate that song to another level. All the other versions sound like cheap demos.
  17. Late and WRONG . This will come out and makes zero noise, I’m sorry. A “Cherry Blossom” teas. A BB teas. A “Thunder” teas. The demo of “Thunder” is what people want, yet she gave us a rachety string version. This is what people want. It is what’s been going viral. They’re goin to destroy it like BAR and Thunder .
  18. Hopefully it’s “Yes To Heaven” and not “Say Yes To Heaven”. Yes To Heaven sounds like a smash. Say Yes To Heaven sounds like a flop.
  19. Hopefully, no more long videos. That will kill her views . It’s not hard to release videos for each song separately if they are more than one. Tropico is deep and buried on YouTube when each song could have had their moment to shine. The Norman era videos could have had way more views, but they had to release them like that. If she shot them as one long video, the best way to upload is the whole film first and then upload them separately FOR EACH SONG weeks or months later to get more views. I’m only typing this just in case her team read this. I think they do. The fact that I have to suggest this when it’s standard industry practice .
