I’ve learned my lessons in regards to leaks. It genuinely ruins the excitement you get listening to something for the first time as the artist intended. First listening experience ruined. Not only that, it ruins the discussion around the song. Not just as an individual but as a community you lose the excitement and collective chatter. This is why I don’t understand why there’s no spoiler/leak specific threads. People talk about leak songs in the same thread as the same people who aren’t willing to listen leaks. Let the people who enjoy being spoiled in their own little bubble having their own talk. The album thread should be entirely spoiler free so people who haven’t listen to the leaks can get hype together as collective again without leak listeners talking spoiling expressing their unwarranted opinion in regards to certain songs they heard. Also skimming through a million spoiler tags is annoying as hell. Anyways, I’ve been on other forums (a video game one). They manage leak discussions extremely well I’ve come to realized. Instant warning for leak talks outside the containment thread. There are separate threads for leaks.

In the streaming era, people will pick and choose which song to smash anyway when the album is out. Singles don’t really matter that much. Lana or her label ignoring the sign chosen by the listeners tho is unfortunate. Arcadia having not one but TWO music videos and a televised live performance over Dealer was a mess.

Rosemead flash backs . BOZ is actually a really good insider that has a lot respect for artists. I don’t think he has EVER leaked anything despite knowing and listening to a ton of releases before most people. That cat tho was terrible. I know he didn’t leak the album, but he definitely indirectly caused the album to leak by answering too many questions imposed upon him from many Lanaboards mentally stable members . BOZ knows the limit and when to shut up despite being constantly instigated so he doesn’t ruin surprises.

Fine China released would do about as well as the unreleased songs released on Blue Banisters bfr . Remember how everyone begged her to release Cherry Blossom? The bombing there is next level . If they are really releasing an unreleased, it’s clearly because they want to capitalize on it just like SS sped up. Choosing a viral unreleased song would make the most sense.

Also I’m curious to see how The Grants will perform on streaming. I’m going to need the girls who said leaks don’t affect sales to come out in droves and say something about it the day after premiere. I’m expecting it to double A&W streams since it’s much shorter and leaks don’t affect streams after all (I’ve been beaten over the head with this). So 4 - 5 million streams global on the first full day. Genuinely curious to see its performance on Spotify.

My guess is Ocean Blvd is a 25 - 30 tracks album and currently only the first 16 have been revealed. Once again, the album is not coming digitally before March 24th because they’ve been doing everything in their power to secure good sales. Two, I highly doubt it’s an unrelated new music because that would detracts from Ocean Blvd since it’s releasing soon and once again they are doing everything to secure good sales. They are not going to waste their time and effort to release the album digitally or announce a completely unrelated project when the current focus is Ocean. The only thing that makes sense to me is them doing something to boost sales not lower it. The lead single is coming this Tuesday with a WW radio premiere. Ocean Blvd full tracklist and 10 new variants will be revealed as well.

There’s no such thing. Only singles have a “WW” release at least on Spotify. I don’t use Apple Music. Album count downs/releases are all to local time on Spotify on Friday.

Btw, every album releases at local time midnight on Spotify which means NZ already have the album .

Why did they move the release date when it’s coming March 10th anyway. Make it makes sense?

People keep drumming DiGITaL ReLEASe when BOZ has outright denied it already. And once again why in the hell would they do that? They care a lot about the charts. Multiple variants, moved the release date, etc. Anyway, double album collapse probably.

We don’t know what song is premiering? And if there’s an interview we don’t know what she’s going to talk about on the show. It could be the actual lead single from the pop album attached to Ocean Blvd. A reverse of what Taylor did with Midnights. The 3am edition was the more alternative aspect of that album. Remember Ocean Blvd (song), A&W did not get a radio premiere which is very unusual for a Lana release. Also no music videos so far this era. Arcadia had two for gods sake.

Ocean Blvd has like 5 variants plus CDs plus Cassettes. Consistent restocks of the album. They are not going to let that down the drain by doing a digital release bfr when they’re clearly doing their best to secure big numbers.
