  1. I like listening to the title track more now that I’ve had some time. A&W is a little bit too discordant for me.
  2. Lost At Sea is the buzz single, just like Looking For America was
  3. The one thing I’m still really trying to analyze if she’s speaking generically about her experiences with men or if there’s a particular man this song is inspired by. “side piece at age 33” might be specific or not (convenient rhyme scheme)
  4. Lana is driving through the San Gabriel Valley now. First Arcadia, now Rosemead. Two very Asian-American cities in LA #represent
  5. Shimmy Shimmy CoCo Puff also used in Nelly’s Country Grammar which is why that section makes me laugh sometimes
  6. lowkey glad Drew Erickson only has 3 tracks on this album. Ocean Blvd might have been his best with Lana. He’s a technically proficient producer but there’s something about his melodic arrangements that are lacking for me. Sort of the opposite of Jack (at his peak)
  7. I’m budgeting getting nothing done the morning of release. I will be on ATRL, PopJustice, and Lanaboards to gauge reactions and feel ~part of the moment~
  8. twitter and atrl briefly mentioned lana no longer being friends with nikki lane. what’s the story behind that?
  9. I don’t think Lana will ever touch the girlishness behind White Dress so I’m getting the vibe that A&W is the opposite of that vibe, same topic
  10. What direction of slut is she going to go on this album? I've always wanted a follow up to Off To The Races but I don't think it's likely
  11. Miley’s single debuts big on Spotify. Lana is not doing any promo. Arts not charts, I tell myself
  12. I’m choosing to believe she’s being petty rather than obsessive. I was worried that she literally drove to Tulsa for this but that steering wheel is a Dodge Ram and I think she has a Chevy
  13. When I first heard about the song title American Whore I thought it would be like “hope” where Lana felt pimped out a bit in her younger years but now I feel like Sean called her a whore or something in the breakup and she’s turning the phrase back around
  14. What if this title track is about Lana yearning to get married? because she deep down inside feels that is validation Only saying this because I learned that Sean got married & so did Francisco (the only other man who was majorly referenced in her recent works)
  15. If that billboard in Tulsa is directed at Sean, does that mean Arcadia was also referencing Sean? I get why Lana was down bad after Sean but wow
  16. Maybe the song is registered in some database or it’s hidden somewhere in her website
