I agree Lasso is such a good title. The moment I read the news my first thought was wow that title is going to be iconic, like most of her album titles. I also think it reflects the apparently new route she’s taking, less introspective and more straightfoward, perhaps more romantic? Or maybe we could expect some crazy lyrics like Off to the Races? Although it seems she’s keeping the conversational aspect, judging by Henry Come On.

I’m literally sobbing typing this lol but oh man I love this album with my whole heart. Just peak music. It’s Ok Computer. The Antlers’ Hospice. Vespertine. In the Aeroplane Over the Sea. Pink Moon. Songs of Love and Hate. An important piece of alternative music.

I’m 100% sure the songs went viral because they’re amazing, not because some quirky lyrics.

The Grants is one of the best gospel songs ever. Also it's just incredible how life affirming it is. She was ON A MISSION with that song.

It’s not entirely bad; I actually found the composition to be very interesting. What made me stop listening were his voice and the suffocating clown sound.

I feel like we need to discuss this much more. Her outfit was so so so Ocean Blvd; to me, she completely captured the essence of the album and made it a look. The moment I saw her, I was like, she looks ready to accept the AOTY. It would've been a beautiful image.
