Lana's next single may or may not be as big as Tough, but it will certainly do better than that and that's a fact. SYTH might have a slight edge over it worldwide but that was a widely anticipated drop (on a way bigger scale than Tough), it had been trending on TikTok for like 6 months before release, the fanbase had been listening to it for literal years, the people were hungry. tbh, I'm just confused why there's a lot of Tough haters lol one song doing better than it doesn't mean it's not doing extremely good for a Lana song, when only 2 other songs have done better.

Yeah that’s valid given the songs range from being made in like 2013 all the way to 2021. In an ideal world I wish she would’ve refined and fine tuned the album some more but I know she wanted to put it out ASAP

the reason they work as “stand-alone songs” for yall is that half of them are leaks we listened to for years as individual songs and a 25% were released as singles before the album, leaving the last 25% to be completely fresh me personally, i love this album a lot because of how calm and relaxing it is and works perfectly in the fall time. yeah it’s not the best album but i think it’s better to think about it as a compilation record. (although i do wish she searched for the original masters of notg/cb/ll rather than youtube rips)
