Is the only way to get presale access for the London dates via O2 priority? Am I missing something?

We NEED a HBHBHB anniversary edition. Their magnum opus. THE album of the 2010s. The modern day Rumours. It’s only right that we get Conductor, Pure Feeling, As Far As I Could Get on streaming and an official release for Tantalus… + 5 unreleased from the vault

Ok. MAYHEM hit so different for me today… Damn. My opinion is changing daily… It’s so good… Cindy…

I really do not like the album cover, or any of the album cover's, at all... I find the photoshoot so meh. The lack of contrast between the black and white bothers me. Can we bring back text on album covers too? It does kind of baffle me that Gaga is seemingly bursting with creativity and concepts yet majority of her album artworks are kind of ugly or boring. The Fame Monster is timeless and so classy. Perfect. BTW and ARTPOP are fine. I'm being nitpicky but it's just something I can't stop thinking about and wonder if anyone else feels the same. Recency bias has kind of worn off for MAYHEM, and I'd say for me it's a 6 or a 7. Zombieboy, Killah, How Bad Do U Want Me and Garden of Eden are my favourites. I'm still conflicted with how I feel about it, I think it wasn't what I was expecting it to be at all so I'm having to approach it differently. Shadow of a Man is great. Honestly I've kinda been underwhelmed with all of my faves' releases in the last year except Brat

I think the album is great. It’s way stronger than Chromatica. However, The Fame -> ARTPOP are honestly just such untouchable classics I don’t think she will ever come close to topping them again (for me). So I have to listen to all music post ARTPOP knowing it won’t come close to that because she doesn’t work like that anymore. Which is fine, she’s grown and her goals have changed etc. Zombieboy, Killah, Garden of Eden are incredible. Shadow of a Man is a vibe and How Bad Do U Want Me has me hooked cuz of the Taylor vibes. I’m obsessed with the performances / photoshoots / promo this era too. Feels such classic Gaga. Really happy to see her back in good form and really dedicated to what she’s putting out. My current ranking of albums is probably this: 1. Born This Way 2. The Fame Monster 3. ARTPOP 4. The Fame 5. Joanne 6. Mayhem 7. Chromatica Mayhem will probably climb to #5 when I’m more familiar with the deep cuts. I’m stuck on Zombieboy / Garden of Eden / Killah atm

im laughing so hard at this lie detector test. you can literally hear the voices in her head shouting DO WHAT U WANT FT R KELLY when they asked if she'd ever delete a song from her catalogue. and then when they followed that question with "Do you ever regret this collaboration...?" and pulled out a picture from artpop era of her and kermit. Bye

Valentine is such a classic AND the story of my life

Burn every bridge except the one that leads to your greatest desire. I know it’s not her quote, but I wouldn’t have heard it if it weren’t for her citing it in several acceptance speeches. It’s inspired me a lot

the album ethel just posted about, i’ve read a few reviews of perverts and the only place i’ve seen Nurse With Wound mentioned in relation to the project was on this thread a few pages back i think. urm… lurking?

This news is like the most insane ever. Rest in peace to a true visionary

i do, but it doesn’t work properly (well, one time i set an alarm and it went off at the complete wrong time waking my whole house up) and i can’t be bothered to try and figure it out / risk sleeping past the time i need to. so i just use my phone do you own a sketchbook?
-
I can’t like posts on my phone anymore but I just want to say I would like this if I could Perverts is amazing wow. I’m really letting it sink in. Amber Waves is already an all time favourite song for me. The project does not feel long at all. I’ve been reading Kafka’s Metamorphosis while listening to this in the background

When I read the post I was half asleep and also the top comment I saw was the one I addressed. Maybe I exaggerated but… the point still stands. Of course people can dislike the record. I have no issue with that However I take issue with the insufferable people who have swanned in recently and are in the comments saying stuff like ‘Ethel I love you but wtf is this’ etc. It’s narrow minded and entitled. I just wanted to give my two cents on that on a public forum As a fan of Hayden I’m elated to see the response in her comments, I just so happened to see several ones which provoked me to write my post.
-
The comments on her post are pissing me off. Someone whose latest post on their page is them in a folklore cardigan complaining that there’s no lyrics and that the album is trash. Obviously this album isn’t for everyone, but you don’t get to discover Ethel after seeing American Teenager on TikTok and then dictate the music Hayden releases The entitlement is so crazy. And rude. I love this project. It won’t be a constant listen for me as it’s very heavy, but it’s beautiful and thickens the Ethel Cain atmosphere. I feel like this music is more in line with the visuals of ‘Ethel Cain’, maybe even more so than Preacher’s Daughter that I feel in retrospect lacked a bit of ‘roughness’ in some of the tracks. (Although I listen to that album daily). Amber Waves, Punish, Perverts are all spectacular and when I listened in the dark last night I was terrified. If you are shocked that this is the music of the album I don’t know what to say to you, because it was going to be this all along. I think this is such a bold move but also a necessary one for Hayden, as she is sharpening her vision and storytelling rather than diluting it as a result of her popularity. It’s not commercial, but at the same time I hate to see these basic ass chart music bitches in her comments telling her it’s bad!! THIS MUSIC ISNT FOR YOU!!!!!
