If LDR9 is probably in his Top 3, I wonder what the other 2 records are for a glimpse at his personal taste in Lana’s music?

LDR9 will be in my Top 5 Lana records I’m like 99% sure even though I’ve heard none of it

Although I am doubtful Lana’s team would let her surprise drop a record, I do find it interesting how secretive Lana, her managers, and insiders have been regarding this album. 
 

Then again, maybe they’re just expecting a huge commercial success, so maybe this record has a very clear release outline date-wise. We’ll know in 2 days (maybe less)

BoZ seems to be done giving info about LDR9 until Lana announces, but maybe someone else will give us a crumb without spoiling anything major

lfl and ldr9 go together (which fits with the “variety” thing we got from boz)  maybe not sonically though .. but i feel like there will be similar aspects .. a return to a bigger era perhaps? beautiful visuals? variety and power? some self reflection and some hot iconic tracks? commercial appeal? bombastic??? i see it coming … don’t tell me i’m delusional, i’m just wild!

I don’t think the soundscapes will be quite as polarizing as what we heard on LFL (which could make sense given BoZ’s distinction of LDR9 from LFL), but I definitely think we’ll have more options for upbeat and somber tracks that are still in the same vein sonically. 
 

Then again, maybe she’ll surprise us with something really unexpected: I always think about about the possibility of The Trio being a clue for LDR9 that blends her love of outlaw country influences and hip-hop—the absolute meltdowns that would occur

personally I think whatever happens on LDR9 will be excellent & I’m here for it

this is what I thought as well! Although I know he loves a lot of her work, he seemed pretty disinterested with the direction she was taking after COCC and BB, so I definitely agree it could be about Lana!

I was thinking this as well! Does anyone happen to know BoZ’s opinion on Midnights? I remember his tweet being something along the lines of, “When Jack does something right, it’s amazing,” and it was just before Swift released, but I don’t remember him praising Midnights that much, right? Maybe I’m wrong lol
