If this is true, we could either be in for a big era or a surprise release…..or both Then again, we do know Eclipse was “baffled” at the idea of people thinking a surprise release is possible…..unless of course he was bluffing and is also being silenced If nothing happens by 5PM today I’ll assume the wait for news will be indefinite lol

I just called it to see if anything changed & it’s still that random fan cover of HBTB I guess her team doesn’t know/doesn’t care that someone hacked it

It’s my dream for this to happen. It would be her most critically acclaimed, I fear….

I either want LDR9 to be a fun, breezy summer record or a frozen-over, too-cold-to-move winter album

Idk if anyone’s mentioned this, but I used Shazam on that last video she posted, and there were no results could just be some random spliced audio of a non-Lana song but who knows

To be fair, I think the LFL qualities most people are wanting are the more upbeat, lighthearted, and eclectic aspects of it (also the witchy/space themes are nice lol) Also, she’s progressed a lot as an artist, so I think if she were to make another “sister” record, it would feel a lot more mature and cohesive!

it took me way too long to realize the DNC reference ugh I remember after NFR’s release that she said she had star signs in mind for her next album. I almost wonder if maybe astrology got strewn into some of the bombastic songs that didn’t get included in COCC. Then again, maybe she was just referencing the cancer/leo lyrics in Chemtrails (the song) lol

Ok, here are some new guesses for the “C” of DNC with all of these planetary references: -cosmos -celestial -constellations -comet -collision (like neutron collision lol) -crescent -cluster -Cassiopeia (it’s a constellation, but in mythology, the woman was cursed to the sky because of her narcissism) that’s all I can conjure up for now

Does anyone else remember Lana saying her team wouldn’t let her go full-blown with the space concept during the LFL era? (I think it was specific to a music video.) Anyway, the rocket emoji, her creating an Instagram story called “Stars align” which includes photos from her new photoshoot, then her posting about the planetary positions on her birthday….. a perfect time to release her spacey Oh Say Can You See

I really hope insiders know something we don’t & aren’t just speculating!! I know I’ve said this before, but (while I don’t think it’ll be **exactly** LFL 2.0), I definitely think they’ll share traits. It explains so much: -rumors and hints of multiple producers -Lana’s team sending a track to Pusha T -Jack saying there’s a pool of more upbeat songs we haven’t heard -Lana also implying essentially stream of consciousness, wordy tracks -Kali Uchis saying Lana reached out for a collab -Lana experimenting with multiple genres at once -Lana wishing for a Migos collab while wearing the mysterious “DNC” jacket Lana always described Chemtrails to be Norman’s little sister, and I’d love for LDR9 to be LFL’s more mature but still eclectic and vast sister

Lana posting the LFL trailer including the “especially on Tuesdays” quote alongside her saying the stars are aligning on her birthday…which is this Tuesday Am I reaching? Or does this mean something )other than her just noticing the trend from her birthday & adding that clip)?

since we’re not getting info… I’d love a vinyl with a fun but cohesive texture design. If it’s a wordy, angry, relatively colorless record, imagine a vinyl with a marble-like design or something that resembles how ice cracks over a frozen lake. Alternatively, a monochrome album cover with a vibrantly colored vinyl would be a cool contrast too! @Surf Noir’s paralysis demon is the new LDR9 insider confirmed

BOZ is a reliable insider and just said there was no news related to the album whatsoever… …so either information just leaked OR there’s just general doubt surrounding Lana ever doing a surprise release..or @111 has sources outside of BOZ that gave them the info what is the truth

At this point in a Lana record’s development (knowing songs have been sent to Drew and Lana being seen in Jack’s studio), reliable insiders would normally have spilled a crumb of info by now—especially considering Ben claims the entire album is coming soon. Lana’s team has either upped their security measures, or a surprise release is imminent. Either way, both are nice possibilities for me personally

This is just solidifying the possibility of a surprise drop for me. I won’t get my hopes up, but something suspicious is going on lol

Wait, I’m realizing something: LDR9 might be coming sooner than we initially thought. The frequency of Rob’s studio photos (for me, at least) gave the impression that the record was far from finished. However, now that RG1 is likely, Ben’s comment about a new Lana album coming soon makes way more sense. “Soon” is subjective, but I wouldn’t be shocked if we get a single this summer Maybe this is just me, but I interpreted that caption as like, “Look at San Francisco: the city that has had so many songs written about it in the past.” that was just my interpretation, though!
