  1. What’s your favorite track on the album? Mine is her woeful jazz rendition of Dolly Parton’s Jolene but fr I’m not putting any stock into these livestream announcements anymore lol
  2. Maybe this is dumb, but wouldn’t shazaming Summertime show that it belongs to an album if it comes out tomorrow, or is that not necessarily true?
  3. I’m thinking ~6 minutes. I could see the video beginning with no music and initially a few mostly silent clips of the country club imagery (pouring lemonade, swimming pools, etc.). Eventually, *something* will shift the light, carefree scenes into the darker imagery that closed the teaser.
  4. Honestly, I loved the Silent Night cover!! Minimal backing vocals always suits her so well
  5. Imagine Lana shows up with the grainy vintage filter & we hear, "Sylvia..."
  6. I swear the wait for this twitch stream is more anxiety-inducing than the Tonight Show's lmao
  7. As much as I want to get my hopes up, I know I’m going to be disappointed in the very probable likelihood she takes the stage to perform LMLYLAW, YNWA, or Summertime. I’m just going to assume we’re getting one of these 3 and anything extra will be a pleasant bonus.
  8. Expanding off of what the other user said, the mellotron in Love Song sounds very similar to the intro of gold rush, and this similarity is emphasized by them being in the same key as well. In the verse of gold rush that begins with “What must it be like to be that beautiful,” the chord progression actually deviates from the original key. Jack Antonoff actually does the exact chord shift for the same key in Lorde’s Green Light when she sings, “But I hear sounds in my mind.” Not only that, but this chord progression also occurs in Love Song (also in the same key) when Lana sings, “It all comes down to make the sound of our love song.” let me know if that’s the similarity you’re hearing!
  9. LMAO imagine the 14th comes & we’re all waiting intently for the performance & all we hear is, “Sylvia...”
  10. ^this. Twitter will have a field day if she covers Summertime, and You’ll Never Walk Alone is vocally the more impressive choice imo (even if it’s not the most interesting track). Hell, maybe we’ll get lucky and get an unheard COCC track, but that feels a little unlikely
  11. Landslide would fit so well in her more recent discography and the dialogue she’s included in her writing lately. The lines in Venice Bitch where she talks about getting older and watching the neighborhood kids have always reminded me of Landslide. It’s such a full-circle concept considering so much of her music has centered around themes of youth and the feelings of invincibility that follow it
  12. Could you imagine a cover of Black Is The Color Of My True Love’s Hair? I feel like Lana’s voice would suit it so well.
  13. I know there’s zero chance of this happening, but Lana would absolutely kill a cover of The Drugs Don’t Work. I could totally see it being the Goodbye Kiss of this era
  14. 1.) Malibu (Get Free Demo) 2.) Melancholia (Ultraviolence Demo) 3.) Roses Bloom For You 4.) Terrence Loves You (Demo) 5.) California (Demo)
  15. Lana’s recent shoutouts from Bruce Springsteen have me curious if they’ve been working together. I could totally imagine Lana covering Secret Garden. In the track, he describes a woman who will always reserve a part of herself from others, and that access to her private headspace is the “secret garden.” Lyrically, it’s totally in the realm of 13 Beaches.
