  1. I saw Multiverse of Madness in theaters recently & made the mistake of having an edible beforehand….iykyk
  2. me when LDR9 comes out in June & the lead single is White Dress (Pt. II) featuring the story of a woman trying on her wedding dress months after her fiancé left her for another woman
  3. I’ve said it a million times, but I can just feel how good this record will be Lana singing God Knows I Tried in the UV church, her dancing to Summertime Sadness, no snippets, gay beach weddings, LFL-NFR-era looks, alleged magazine covers, etc…. I’m anticipating LDR9 (maybe even LDR10) to be that era: a busy pre-release thread, critical acclaim, tons of fun, overall good vibes. Manifesting
  4. I feel similarly, and I think that’ll reflect well on LDR9 as it has in her past few records. In my opinion, Blue Banisters largely did address what Lana mentioned—albeit in an unexpected way. For example, Text book and WFWF addressed and clarified her criticisms of including themes of abuse and tumultuous relationships in her discography (in my opinion, at least). All of that being said, Antonoff did date Lena Dunham who was a huge source of controversy for a while. Then again, that’s more his personal life and not professional, and cultural attitudes have certainly shifted a bit since then. In short, I think Lana largely got her revenge with Blue Banisters, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s buried that need to justify herself in any wild, angry, or unusually controversial way on LDR9 or other future records…unless there’s some unheard tunes that haven’t surfaced yet
  5. Last night I dreamt an actual insider announced that Lana was about to drop something unexpectedly. The horror when I woke up
  6. I don’t even have words for how beautiful she sounds—honestly surprised she remembers it lol. It must be an intimate song for her. Her vocals are so polished and stunning, and I love the little trill she added. The fact they’re recording this raw is really a testament to her voice. She’s been serving such strong HM-LFL-NFR vibes lately….
  7. I just hope the record feels fun, ya know? For me, NFR had a carefree, just-doing-it-for-fun vibe even though it has some pretty dark lyrics and themes. I’d love for her to channel that same energy that we’ve seen in her recent posts on LDR9 or LDR10 In other words, I really hope we get a record that embodies Venice Bitch’s “Everything, whatever” mantra
  8. DEL NORTE COUNTY Producers: Jack Antonoff, Drew Erickson, Lana Del Rey Genre: Hypnagogic Pop Tracklist: • Del Norte County • Sunroof • Alone With Your Fender • The Garden’s Melting — Interlude / • Ichor • Rock Candy Sweet • By Forty • Hotel California
  9. Personally, I think Lana would kill something like this on LDR9. It reminds me a bit of some of her LFL demos and her pre-debut work. Lana hanging with Donoghue has me (wishfully) hoping his “witch house” music influences would rub off on her to make a lo-fi, murky, vibe of a record with electronic influences. It’s unrealistic, but I like entertaining the idea anyways
  10. I agree! For me, if I had to transfer over some vibe to LDR9, it would be WFWF, Dealer, and the outros to BB/TB
  11. Though an interview suggests she doesn’t anymore, Lana has mentioned that she would decorate the studio to help reflect what she’s recording…or even bring small, special objects while writing. Has anyone noticed anything in the studio Insta/Twitter pics we’ve seen? Maybe there’s a little glimpse at what the vibe for LDR9 is
  12. If you’re looking for an obscure, quiet, lo-fi song with half-spoken, existential, and stream of consciousness style lyrics…..here ya go! It’s going to be hit or miss, but if it clicks, you’ll love it! It’s a thoughtful, bittersweet track
  13. I know it was previously mentioned that—because of the Swift x Lana x Jack photo—LDR9 could potentially contain a Swift collab. However, given that Swift is set to release a re-recording of her song This Love from 1989, Lana appearing on a 1989 vault track seems more likely than a LDR9 feature. While I’m not big on collabs, I find this particularly interesting given how synth-pop-oriented 1989 is (think Blank Space, Style, Wildest Dreams). There are alternatives, of course: the Lana/Swift/Jack photo could just be a hangout…or maybe Lana would appear on a vault track for a different Swift re-recording. We’ll see!
  14. just remembered we’re both Aquarius suns & risings (I think). Our minds
  15. Personally.. Group1: Green Table Group2: Red Table
  16. ^Okay, Group 1: where are you sitting if you can only pick one spot? and what about for Group 2? (yes I purposely made the second one more controversial lol)
  17. Brooklyn Baby…just based off general vibes lol
  18. Ugh, imagining that on LDR9 would be so interesting (especially considering “insiders” are claiming a hazy, psychedelic-tinged record). Manifesting jazzy vocals in the verses and Dealer vocals at the song’s outro
  19. Random idea for a LDR9 trailer if insiders are right about this being a transition record + some fan speculation is right about it being called Death Never Came: Imagine the trailer is almost reminiscent of Ride’s music video: a monologue about the progression of her life playing in the background, tons of nostalgic supercuts from past eras, etc. The background instrumental would be a haunting and cinematic medley of BTD-LFL-DNC. You can even hear a few muffled, breathy words from the tracks peppered in occasionally. She ends the monologue with some impactful line, like, “After praying for its embrace for 36 years, I woke up to finally realize…that death never came.” And then there’s this abrupt shift to only the DNC aesthetics with the title track playing fully in the background. The dark, deeply personal emotions that were felt earlier are now met with more lighthearted ones: Lana swimming on a North Cali beach, dancing with friends on the shore, etc. The era has begun. a gay can dream
  20. Reliable insiders, this is rough on us. Could you spare even a crumb of lyric or insight? Even a single word (preferably that isn’t “blue” lol)?
  21. Ok, I’m bored and feel like speculating on the rumored Blueberry Hill Club since it’s the only title not directly associated with other artists: So, there’s a music club in St. Louis called Blueberry Hill. I’m not from St. Louis, but it seems to be known for how frequently Chuck Berry (often called the father of Rock & Roll) performed there. Blueberry Hill Club seems to be rooted in pop culture nostalgia (lots of Beatles, jukeboxes, and other memorabilia). Blueberry Hill (minus the “Club” ) was also a song popularized in the 1950s by Fats Domino. It seems to be a song of finding love and then losing it: “Though we're apart, you're part of me still/ For you were my thrill on Blueberry Hill.” Now I’ll reach even more & speculate that LDR9 is her nostalgia-drenched 1950s rock masterpiece
  22. After the NFR snippet extravaganza & RCS/BB fake release dates, I’m really curious why she’s choosing to be fairly hush-hush about this record! Maybe it’s as simple as forgetting to post about it, but maybe….maybe she’s cooking something special up there are endless explanations but I’m choosing to be delusional, personally lol
  23. Assuming this is true, if she’s shooting today, how long do you think until we see the cover get released? I’m not sure how the timeline of that stuff works haha
