Maybe it was one of those "bombastic" jack songs and she loved it so much that she tried to put it in 2 albums but didn't fit in the end. BB is a bit of a mixed bag but it's still on the acoustic/organic sound even with BBS and Dealer in there so who knows... I don't remember seeing any insider hyping up LYTAN tho Yosemite had to wait 2 whole albums to be released so maybe this one will share the same fate

Yep... I love WCE but I was a bit disappointed that it had nothing to do with LDR9 At least we know she started the album and she already has some songs so knowing Lana... it's probably coming sooner than later (maybe not spring soon but summer-fall)

I don't think Lana would let that happen tho... she would just record herself farting over 4 piano chords and name it Rock Candy Sweet just to spite Interscope (or just leak the album herself) They literally hated UV and she still managed to release it and it was just her second (third depending how you count Paradise) album with them. She obviously has a contract and all that but I think she has full control over her music and she owns her masters (WCE included).

It's so weird seeing her using Honeymoon as an "offficial" account. I mean the first post about the covers feels like it was just copied and pasted from her label/managers texts (probably was) and the second one is what she would have posted on her own

I wouldn't have anything against them if they weren't openly homophobic. I'm sure Lana doesn't even know but it wouldn't be a good look. Also, there a lot of better rap artists out there

I'm not entirely sure how that works but I think it's more label/spotify sided. The real spotify "charts" are the ones that go by daily streams so we'll have to wait a couple of days to see how well the song does. Playlisting works tho, IYLDWM has a lot more streams than the other BB songs just cause it was on a big playlist on release day

My dream rollout would be a lead single in March, then in april we get the FJM track, another single in May-June and a summer album between July and September. I know it's too soon but a delulu likes to dream

I think the most logical explanation is that LYTAN is floating around and if some people have it I'm sure BOZ has it too. He then got WCE and could tell they were different songs. The only real mystery is whether he had "Rock Candy Sweet" or just saw it in the BB first tracklist and assumed it was LYTAN renamed (if it was even renamed, maybe it was still as LYTAN). We also have the magic guy on the credits so unless they did a session back then I'm pretty sure WCE is a new song recorded recently for the show

I love that they still talk about it but if they actually go and finish it I hope they release it as a full collab album instead of picking out songs for different records

This poor girl is overhated. She's just 17 . I get that her music is nothing groundbreaking and her lyrics are a bit cringey but at least she's doing her thing (and she's actually good live). 90% of artists nowadays rely on gimmicks to get hits (even more when they are just starting so I don't blame her, it's just marketing).

This song really is a grower. I didn't like the chorus when we got the first teaser but now I can't get it out of my head I understand why some people wouldn't really care about this song tho but for me it's already a classic
