I hope we get some magazine covers/interviews this spring so she can tease something BB was her only era with no publications at all (that I remember) and I miss them. It made sense with the "just let the music speak for itself" thing and the lack of time between albums but we didn't really get any insights on the record or the unreleased choices (other than some IG captions and some things from the IG live). For Chemtrails she was spoiling the whole album 4 or 5 months before it even came out (delays suck)

Someone uploaded some unreleased Lana songs to Spotify under "Lizzy Rey" and I'm cringing so hard at the cover they used. Why are people so obsessed with obviously photoshopped photos of Lana's face into a model's body. Maybe it's not that deep but it makes me so mad

I want to get into Mitski but I can't even though I tried. Her lyrics are good but I don't like her melodies (or lack of sometimes) at all. I only like Nobody and a couple of songs from that album

I just hope we get another big switch in sound this time (like BTD - UV - HM). I think she writes faster than she can "evolve" sometimes. The first leaked songs for UV were more similar to Paradise that the final UV. The same happened with LFL, the demos and outtakes are more similar to HM than the LFL we got so I think that's what happened with the last 3 albums (even though they are different enough to me to see a satisfying progression in sound and theme).

She's been in front (2 times), getting out and inside a car. Now she needs to get on top of it (like that Klein photoshoot but with a sports car instead of a horse)

I think they meant Lana is going to be the toxic one instead

Where this came from? The only speculation I've seen about the album title (that I remember) are LEGENDARY (cause she used to say that a lot like 2 years ago but it's probably not the title if it ever was) and Pink Palace (based on her twitter bio)

Some theories and stuff about the Lana projects we know of cause I'm bored: - Regarding LDR9: She said in the IG live in October (?) that she had some songs she loved and then in December that the next album is even better than BB so she must have (at least in her mind) a concept for the next record and quite a lot of songs (based on the fact that she is already refering to an album and not just individual songs). Maybe she's using some of the outtakes from the latest sessions and that's why she has a full project in mind already. It can also be that she has a lot of written songs and demos that she hasn't recorded yet, so the album is not close at all to begin finished but she knows how it will sound. The DNC thing teasing also makes me think she has something really important to her (that hopefully won't be scrapped by the time she's ready to release it) - The Nikki x Lana record: They recently sang a new song and we could also hear a new Nikki track on her IG (that may be unrelated). I don't think it's really happening tho. I think we'll just get some collabs scattered among their albums or a couple of droplets (even though I'd prefer if they release a joint EP/album instead) - Covers album: the last thing we know about this is that pic in front of Capitol Records when she told us she was working on the record. She has been working on it (allegedly) for quite some time now so I think it's safe to say it exists in some form but I don't know if we'll get it at all (maybe as a digital release while she waits for vinyl pressing or something like she wanted to during the Chemtrails rollout). She also said in the IG live something about a singer that would be important later in the year but nothing happened in the end. - Unreleased Collection: this is a reach but she recently uploaded a clip of that short film she did with Trash Magic playing and she also captioned one of her ig pics with (maybe) lyrics from Disco. She probably just saw that fancam in some stan account she follows and liked it enough to upload it to her stories. This is the least likely project to happen. I think BB already satisfied her needs of putting out officially some of her favorite unreleased tracks. - The second poetry book: This is definitely happening cause she loves loves her poetry and she has a contract. What I find weird is that she used to really tease the poetry all the time and she just stopped almost completely now. I probably missed a lot of things but Lana is large and contains multitudes

On Blue Banisters one of the "blue" doesn't sound like blue at all. I literally can't hear it, it sounds like "glue" to me. She then says blue again and it sounds so different

I don't think it's scrapped. His reasoning for putting the covers album on that list was "she mentioned it but never released it" so I guess it's the same for the Lana x Nikki record

I think we already know that (but we can't even talk about it so sorry mods don't ban me )

I just hope she gives us a visually cohesive concept with a polished sound this time so it's a bit of a change from the last 2 albums. I don't think it's happening tho, her last two statements regarding that were: - I love music videos where nothing really happens - I record everything in one take I love how raw Chemtrails and BB are but I want something more dreamy and ethereal for LDR9

That's what I love the most about Lana, she's so unpredictable She has like 3 or 4 projects "announced" and she'll probably release something we have no idea of before any of them. My theory is that she treats the covers and Nikki records as side projects (cause they are) to do between albums but she never stops working on her solo music so that's why she hasn't released them yet. She wanted to release AS&C while waiting for Chemtrails but she went to work on RCS/BB instead and I think that's what's happening now with LDR9
