Some tidbits regarding music / album: V: Alongside the release of “Leash” for Babygirl, you announced that your next studio album Masochism will be released this year. Can you give us any updates on the project? SF: Right now, I’m recording, and I wish I could say more about it, but people are always trying to leak my stuff. Unfortunately, I can’t share who I’m working with or any details, because I’ve had so many leaks—it would be really unfortunate if that happened this time around too. () I’m still working on getting my music back and prioritizing which songs I want to use. Eventually, I want to recover all of it, but that’s going to take forever. I’m figuring out how to re-record some tracks if I can while also making new music. I’m planning on releasing it soon—not the album, because I need to figure out how I want to approach that, but definitely new music and videos. “Leash” was a little different since it was through A24 and it’s their song as well, but I’m really excited—there’s a lot going on behind the scenes now compared to before, and it’s starting to feel like a reality again. V: Will “Leash” be a part of your new music or does it feel like a separate project from what you’re working on now? SF: I think so! I feel like I’ve always had a specific sound—there are certain elements that I like in my music that make it recognizable as mine. But I do feel I have a pretty broad range when it comes to the types of songs I make. There are definitely a lot more poppier songs I’ve been working on again. I wouldn’t necessarily compare them to Night Time, My Time, because I know people might take that the wrong way and assume it sounds the same, even though it doesn’t. I don’t want to set myself up for that. But overall, I think it’s shaping up quite nicely. Obviously very tricky to get excited over potential upcoming releases from her!!! But I will say, this is one of her best photoshoots in years - I'm in love

re; the abortion stuff — I would hope she feels differently about it now because of how long ago that was, but has she stayed silent or made any remarks on abortion since then to indicate her stance has changed? Celebrities can be very fake with how they show themselves online, like when Azealia Banks said she's voting for Kamala but then voted for Trump instead. Even at that age when I was 14/15, I believed in womens' rights and knew they deserved the right to choose. Also EW @ the "legalize incest" shirt, is there some sort of context surrounding that? How old is it? I remember she kept making Tumblr posts about shipping incest and didn't come off regretful at all… I'll never understand why people have this fetish. She has multiple songs about incest and an entire EP called "Inbred", I don't think it's through a critical perspective if this is the type of stuff she gets off to. And in what world is 17 x 30 an appropriate age gap?! She was an adult tweeting that — How disgusting.

But the thing is, if she's going to make controversial statements publicly like that—as a celebrity—it's illogical to be upset or shocked about getting attention for it. She's clearly looking for attention.

I agree! I don't count Sirens since it's categorised as a demo album and not a regular album — right? It also wasn't released under the name 'Lana'. AKA is a fully mastered and produced album that saw an (albeit brief) commercial release. It was released under LDR (Lana Del Ray, yes, but it's a 1-letter difference, and isn't there also an alternate cover with the 'Rey' spelling?) This makes it her first official album under the name and her debut studio album overall. I don't count Paradise as its own album, but instead as an EP attached to Born To Die — that's how it was released. Violet… is a poetry audiobook, not a musical album. That's just my opinion tho, no idea what Lana thinks about this in her mind or if she thinks about it at all.

You're just proving their point, doll 😭 Pop 2 might not be as popular as Brat, but it's definitively a very popular and extremely hyped-up album whether it's truly 'overrated' or better than Number 1 Angel ETC is subjective and based on personal taste / opinion
