Well, at least Lil Yachty's verse actually fits thematically within ATAP. Lizzo's BIOYL verse doesn't fit the song at all, it works way better as Charli solo. Tbh I love the original idea for Pop 2 with Blame It On Your Love (solo/original) as the first track and Track 10 (electronic remix) as the closer.

I just checked and her SoundCloud is still connected to her own personal email (lmao), so yeah… What a strange thing for her to lie about. Anyway, I'm excited for Leash to come out. Would be sweet if get more music but I don't want to get my hopes up for any album yet. Also, I think most people here prefer the Jorge Elebrecht-style songs—which I'm also a fan of—but I'm hoping for some more electronic/pop sounding traxxx like initially promised hehe We need A24 or whoever she's working with to put her under more real deadlines. Apparently she was under a deadline for Leash and managed to get that song done in time.

Super random, but did you guys notice what she said about SoundCloud in that interview? I wanted to ask about you showing up at Kevin Abstract’s Coachella set earlier this year to sing a cover of “Need You Now” by Lady A. Are you gonna drop a studio version anytime soon, or at least upload it to your SoundCloud? I love that song, so maybe. But I would need to get my SoundCloud password back from Capitol. Yeah, they somehow got my password and locked me out of my account. It was a whole thing back in, like, 2018. It was maniacal, dude. People keep telling me I need to let go of the past, but the past is still very much my present. Here from Twitter - I didn't know she dropped a music video, but everyone is slamming her for the AI cover art. I just can't believe that got green lit, and especially with all the blatant spelling errors. It looks awfullllll. Everyone used to make fun of Lana's PicsArt single artworks (Me included) but in retrospect I definitely prefer amateur/DIY PicsArt covers over AI prompt slop (Which is 10000x lazier)... Like, at least you can tell the former was made by a human.

Discovering this song changed my life

The Tunnel was recorded in the After School era (early 2020; around the same time as the leaked "Womb" demos and those other songs) but is super Portals-sounding lyrically and was likely an early concept for the album. In the lyrics, you'll notice Melanie playing around with a lot of themes relating to it.
