  1. MTE. It's hard to see this as a "safety concern" or to even think safety is her main issue with this. The idea that the private jet tracker is causing her "emotional distress" when she's killing the planet to dash between her home, tour and football games is bonkers. She's like the female musical equivalent of Elon Musk, and I'm tired of both of them. What this person is documenting isn't even illegal, it's all public information that can be easily accessed by anyone who looks for it.
  2. (BTW I understand that this might be merged into the Taylor Swift thread, but since this topic doesn't relate to her music and extends to topics such as climate change, pollution, other billionaires such as Elon Musk, and broader discussions on free speech rights, I believe it warrants its own separate thread. Mods are welcome to move it if necessary!)
  3. Taylor Swift's attorneys have threatened legal action against a Florida college student who runs social media accounts tracking the flights of her and other celebrities' private jets. Jack Sweeney, a junior at the University of Central Florida, has for years run accounts that log the takeoffs and landings of planes and helicopters owned by hundreds of billionaires, politicians, Russian oligarchs and other public figures, along with estimates of their planet-warming emissions. The accounts use publicly available data from the Federal Aviation Administration and volunteer hobbyists who can track the aircraft via the signals they broadcast. In December, Swift's attorney at the Washington law firm Venable wrote Sweeney a cease-and-desist letter saying Swift would "have no choice but to pursue any and all legal remedies" if he did not stop his "stalking and harassing behavior". Sweeney, 21, told The Post he saw the letter as an attempt to scare him away from sharing public data. The accounts offer only an incomplete sketch of which cities Swift might currently be in, similar to the public schedules for her concerts or any NFL games she might attend, he said. And the letters, he added, were sent to him at a time when she faced criticism over her flights' environmental impact. Private-jet flights are criticized for their disproportionately high impact on climate change, and Sweeney's accounts have often been used to name and shame their most famous passengers. In 2022, the accounts were cited in an analysis that estimated "climate terrorist" Taylor Swift was the biggest celebrity [carbon dioxide] polluter of the year. "This information is already out there", he said. "Her team thinks they can control the world". After receiving the letters, Sweeney said he asked for help from the Electronic Frontier Foundation, a digital rights group, which sent his request to a list of attorneys. James Slater, a Florida lawyer who specializes in First Amendment and internet speech issues, responded on Sweeney's behalf to the Venable letter: "This isn't about putting a GPS tracker on someone and invading their privacy. It's using public information to track the jet of a public figure", he said. “This is their means to try to quash a PR issue and bully my client to have the bad coverage die down". 4. I giggled at this lyric I can't lie YO WHY THE FUCK THEY POKE THE MONSTA…
  5. It's such a tragedy that we never got Delicious final. It was supposed to release in early 2019 and coincide Loose Teens episode #2 but she never put it out I remember getting super hyped up when she posted that snippet with Jodi Arias singing in the background lmfao Very sad that she considers Control and Delicious as "boring and bad" now or something… they're literally amazing
  6. I'm not making this up or anything btw 😭, she's talked about it before on Twitter and her Instagram lives. She came to Petey with the idea of having a comeback whilst she was couch-surfing. Her ex-boyfriend that kicked her out, Brendon, also talked about her after being messaged by some fans around that time and he said some really... messy things apparently they broke up around May of last year, so I think that's what the "May Showers" song is about also I wouldn't be surprised, Heidi has been using Ayesha's version of I'll Do It on her TikTok. imagine if we got a "Heidi Montag" (song) remix with Heidi
  7. What do you mean? by "past her prime" I was referring to musical quality, inspiration etc. She's admitted multiple times that she doesn't enjoy making music or being a public figure anymore. She lost her genuine grit and passion for music a long time ago.
  8. The new stuff itself is rather "half-hearted" too though? not just that, but noticeably uninspired for the most part. According to Ayesha herself, she only only did this comeback for the money. We would've never gotten any of this at all if it weren't for her financial situation (kicked out and briefly homeless last year). She's way past her prime. The smartest move if she's only in it for the money now is to go full-on cashgrab and cater to the majority of fans' desires. And with that, hopefully keep the h4u album as true as possible to its original intent; we can hope she doesn't ruin these songs and that collaborators such as Yvncc, Petey Plastic and That Kid don't get near them. Maybe she'll release Zuzie too, but I doubt it's coming, I think she just wants to secure the bag and dip. It's understandable if she chooses to go back to strictly writing/producing for other artists as that's what was actually enjoyable for her in 2018–2022.
  9. She's even beefing with Pop Base LMAO? this is so funny
  10. Well, let's hope the "Big Foot" song is good… I'm kind of excited because watching this messy drama unfold is very entertaining (even tho it's none of my business) Nicki is acting so unhinged, I hope she channels that energy into the music
  11. 👎… if it's not that serious then you don't have to reply—because if there's one thing I'ma do on here, it's post lengthy comments! we can say as much as we want, it's a discussion forum after all!
  12. Very long but still true #TBH
  13. I disagree with the people saying that Taylor's moved on from the Kimye drama. I don't think she has… she namedropped them in her 2023 person of the year article so that the Swifties don't forget and go after them again She's made a career out of being petty, self-victimising and obsessed with ""karma""—the fans learnt it from her. Although Taylor does seem to idolise Lana and seek validation from her, so even if this bothered her, I feel like she maybe wouldn't say it out loud?
  14. This shoot is amazing OMG... I'm obsessed And she's giving early 2010s Lana!!!! love it
  15. Kim Kardashian could do Love Story but could Toilet Sniff do Jam (Turn It Up)? I don't think so...
  16. She can just ask Donatachi for Iconic. I'm sure Ayesha could easily retrieve most of her old files if she tried, like, just log into your email girl If she wants to do fan service then she should release the 2018 originals and not revamped versions with her boyfriend. I hope she doesn't touch Iconic because the 2018 version already sounds amazing and finalised. Apparently it's Yvncc's favourite, so we can hope he won't end up on the song...
  17. Well, aside from confirming the song's existence multiple times in 2018, Ayesha talked about Anna Nicole's production and lyrics on Twitter like one week before she changed her story and claimed the song ""never existed""⸺which is her go-to excuse these days whenever people ask for songs we don't have lol She also confirmed on Twitter in 2018 that similarly to Control, Superpuss was a reused "old Big Juicy era record" from 2015-2016, which directly contradicts what she recently said about it So Severe was definitely made as well, she references that song title in Raw, and the whole Gangbang album was pretty much completed and even scheduled for a release on iTunes but scrapped within the same month (which is how the actual tracklist surfaced). We currently have 12/14 full songs from that album.
  18. And you trust her on this why? all of these songs were recorded She also said Delicious final was never made, even though we have a snippet posted by herself + the whole instrumental that she sold to some guy... like, what?
  19. I'm sorry but Ariana facing backlash for being a homewrecker is not misogyny 😭. I've seen so much backlash towards both of them! but Ariana is obviously the more famous one out of the two, so it makes sense that people are talking about her. She made the vile decision to hook up with a married man after befriending his wife and holding their newborn child… he made the vile decision to cheat on his wife who had just given birth to their child… LIKE, I'll still listen if the music is good, but they both participated in a nasty and immoral thing, she's far from a victim based off what Lilly has said.
  20. Wait, your taste my ranking is the same There's some good songs on Froot but it's pretty overhyped in general
  21. Congrats on publicising your leaks to your 8.2M (majority unaware) Twitter followers... so stupid
