Omg?! you're right https://www.capitolrecords.com/artists/ I checked the roster on their website at the end of October this year (around NTMT anniversary) when this thread was discussing her as "one of their biggest artists". I remember seeing her on there at the time―so she must've been removed from it recently...

I haven't seen the movie but if Elvis Presley's own family members are against it, maybe that's why Lana didn't want to have a song in it. She's a big Elvis fan right? -
She already explained this whole thing in her 2020 Billboard interview I started writing After School in 2017 with the intention of it being connected to K-12 as a little bonus thing, but I kept writing and so the 3 songs I intended on releasing ended up turning into a 7-song EP.

She was dirt broke with $5, a mannequin and a dream. Still love that video tho and it's one of my all-time favourite songs by her *_* ✧˚ ༘ ⋆。♡˚✧˚ ༘ ⋆。♡˚

While I don't think all celebrities have to voice their opinions and speak up on politics, I think it's great that Melanie is raising awareness and isn't afraid to stand by her beliefs. I'm still seeing shit about people like Regina Spektor, and it makes me really happy to know Melanie's been using her platform to support Palestine―she was actually one of the first artists I saw talking about it. She's been super vocal about BLM for years too and even donated + went to multiple protests. Love her

Both of those songs are from 2013 during CLXI!

If that was the case, they could've just picked up a random old track for the movie. Like how her song "Elvis" was used in a 2018 Elvis Presley film, and how Say Yes to Heaven got released this year -
Not that I don't stand by what I said… but publicly fighting on LanaBoards is kind of embarrassing for everyone involved let's get back to Melanie talk
-
Melanie should make more songs like this, it's still one of my favourites Her voice just sounds heavenly here especially on the bridge
-
I live in a weird world… ya it's sad but it's true…
-
Omg, these are beautiful. You should do some with her 2010 hair that she had during Cry Baby/As If!
-
I love this photo of her
-
She also said this. I can't find the thread anymore so not sure if it got deleted or something but I took this screenshot when I saw it
-
Omg… I didn't know about the name origins, this makes a lot of sense!!!

If she's able to release music VIA OUIJA BOARD then you have NO excuse. @Sky Ferreira@CapitolRecords @FBI

Album spoiler (I can't tell whether you've listened or not from your comment lol)
-
True dedication, I support I think

Fair enough lol, I definitely agree with you that Sky's music is better—but I'm not trying to start another Halsey vs. Sky discourse. In my OG post I was just explaining why Sky might feel humiliated about the state of her own career. And regarding your second comment, I'd argue that As If!, Ghost, NTMT, and NTMT B-Sides Part 1 are all good projects. But I know the B-Sides are often forgotten still sad how we never got Pt 2 :[ and her earlier stuff isn't everyones' cup of tea.

I wonder if she avoided posting about the anniversary out of embarrassment. I don't even mean this in a shady way necessarily, but "10 years of NTMT" also essentially means "10 years of false hope and promises" Remember when Masochism was supposed to come out in 2015–16? all the other artists around her sphere (thinking of other "alt girls" who were popular on Tumblr around that time period, for example: Charli/Lana/Melanie/Marina/Halsey/etc). They've all released multiple albums since then. Matter of fact, Halsey has released a total of 4 albums under Capitol since NTMT. Don't get me wrong—I'm a ferrari 5ever and never really got into Halsey—but we all know who got the last laugh
