I just wanted to say, even though we have a lot of disagreements and opposing opinions, I don't have any ill will against you or anyone on this thread! if I come across that way it wasn't intentional. Like obviously I wasn't a fan of @AzzyCxndy's tracklists, but no serious animosity there. It's always nice to talk with fellow fans/listeners of Melanie

The After School titles aren't legit. 'Meth' (a typo for 'Math' if I recall correctly lol) was made up by one of my friends from Discord as a joke back in 2021. The only real song on this list is of course History, which had a snippet leaked at the time: 'Duck Duck Goose' is a fake snippet from 2020: 'Wishing Well', 'Guardian' and 'Flower Bed' were fake MM3 (Portals) titles, also dating back to 2021. This isn't to say that she definitely doesn't have songs under any of these names— some of her titles can be so guessable — but the 'leaks' weren't real.

I'm sorry, maybe we have different interpretations of that word, but none of these songs are remotely 'medieval' to me except Dragon's Blood The album was always based off death and past life regression sort of stuff, which you can hear in the older material before anything leaked: Death, Void, Corpse, etc. Puzzles which you mentioned even includes the line "I remember this moment from a past life". Not to mention Womb (originally recorded during After School sessions, as an idea for Melanie's then-upcoming album) is from early 2020—she began teasing 'Somewhere Between Life and Death' on Instagram that same year.

This actually isn't true! 'Medieval Dynasty' was never a real thing, it was made up by fans when Dragon's Blood was the only MM3 (Portals) leak. The title Portals was even foreshadowed at the ending of the K-12 film, she had the concept planned for a long while. Also you do realise Garden is probably an Oliver Tree diss track too, right? lol

At the end of the day we don't know any of these people personally. I don't know anything about The 1975 or its members but Charli, Taylor, Twigs etc definitely know them better than random people on Twitter/Reddit/the internet do. It's been a bit cringe seeing the massive uproar of Swifties trying to dictate who she can or cannot date— if Taylor chooses to be with him, then that's that. She's a grown woman who can make her own decisions.

I never paid much attention to this song, but Madly came on today and it's quite good tbh. Has anybody pointed out it's similarities to Let Me Love You Like a Woman (original)/Pink Champagne? Not just the instrumentals, but the lyrical content as well. It's like they're sort of sister songs, with Madly being being the man's perspective (Barrie, I think…) and LMLYLAW/PC being the woman's (Lana).

Not true, actually! It would've leaked ages ago if that were the case.

My interpretation of Toy Chest is that it's about how her love life ("bedroom") is a mess and she's broken guys' hearts before, but she's willing to "clean up her mess"/better herself so she can be with this new guy she's singing about.
