for once i agree with you miss delulu, cherry blossom WILL make its iconic official debut on this album as one of her best unreleased melodies ever and if someone doesn’t like that they can suck it

i love the new songs yet i definitely don’t want her the pursue that "poetry but make it a song" direction. its a nice change for a song or two, having a more free form approach and so. and i get she loves poetry, good for her. but i honestly couldn’t care less about her poetry. i stan lana for being a musical artist, who makes music, not for being a wannabe poet and i deeply hope it’ll stay that way

tbf, speaking for myself maybe for some others as well but most of our “criticism" is just either jokes or exaggeration. like when i say nikki’s a horrible horrible woman or that i hate jack it’s usually mostly jokes or jokingly bitchy. if i/we really hated lana and everything she does that much we wouldn’t be here on this cursed website right now all i wanted to say is those who take negativity/criticism to heart just keep in mind it usually isn’t that serious.

god this tired ass argument again? no one, and i mean NO one, wants this from lana. no one. wanting some strings, beats, bass, mixing that doesn’t sound like it was made by amateurs, whatever isn’t asking for pop or “shake your ass" music. and wanting this type of production or anything that sounds as good as her production pre-nfr isn’t wanting BTD 2.0 either. she can make art, and she used to, with productions that are far more interesting or different than simple piano or over saturated fake drums. if y’all enjoy the garageband pianos great but accept that there are people who don’t.

wym i’ve BEEN hating on the poetry snoozefests since day 1 and called it just her reciting her shopping list you and me the only honest members in this thread we love to see it

i’m so sick of her bullshit she might as well keep her snoozefest album her music isn’t good enough anymore to constantly pull this kinda shit

a lot of people are too harsh and expect too much yes but also you can’t ask stans not to expect anything or have their own wishes. after all it’s her job to sell a product and keep us satisfied since we, the consumer, buy said product and keep her "rich". so ofc there’s certain things you’d want from her to get your money’s worth.

concerning the cohesive/not cohesive 12tracks/16tracks topic i think a 16-18 long, strong, cohesive project can be just as good (if not better) as a cohesive 11-12 track album. a very cohesive short album can become just as boring and annoying than a very long album full of fillers would be. cocc is more cohesive than lfl sure but does that make it better? no. lfl has nearly just as many skips or lows than cocc has yet the best songs on there eat up anything on cocc. and at this point i’d prefer a 16 track BB that’s less cohesive but also has less fillers and more different sounding songs than an ultra cohesive one like cocc that feels like it’s already over after 9 tracks
