  1. none of them said dealer is a jack piano ballad? and it literally can’t be since she made that one with zach not jack.
  2. let’s think outside the box dear. 14 minimum. 16 if we’re brave. idfc let’s raise it to 18. one genre per track. deluluhours is NOW
  3. EXACTLY. and this isn’t a specific attack more a general statement but some of y’all lack serious reading comprehension. like you say us wanting more strings, more bass, more synths, more drums has nothing to do with wanting the moaning cocaine daddy pink lana back. take chemtrails for exemple. you keep the lyrics and production, take out jack’s muffle bullshit, add more strings, some REAL drums, a few light electric guitars and BAM 99% of this site would be happy as a child on christmas morning. the fact some think exclusively of BTD when we mention strings, synths and beats as if those weren’t on every album until lfl and even some of nfr. no one wants another lolita or this is what makes us girls. most just want different production, and again wanting different production ≠ wanting 10 year old lana back.
  4. probably cause that’s who most of us fell in love with ? i don’t see what’s so hard to grasp here. honeymoon is barely 6 years old, lfl 3 and a half... some of you constantly act as if wanting another record in that direction was the craziest thing to expect/ask for as if she hadn’t had that sound in 30 years. hip-hop/pop sound ≠ born to die. i literally haven’t seen anyone asking her to make another born to die or to copy one of her old albums. wanting hip-hop/experimental influences doesn’t mean we want btd 2.0
  5. yes and no. we didn’t get anything pop/bop oriented since lfl/nfr so one side of me heavily agrees and i don’t see that ever happen again. on the other side if she showed us one thing yesterday it’s that she’s a random ass bitch, who after 10 years still surprises me. so i think another more pop oriented sound could still happen again one day, maybe in a more mature way. nfr still had cinnamon which is the closest to her old "pop bangers" yet it was on nfr, the furthest thing from said bangers. let’s just wait and see, anything’s possible with her and who knows maybe one day she’ll surprise us with another pop masterpiece.
  6. like at this point let’s all collectively stop asking him what the songs sound like and let’s stick to getting the dates out of him cause descriptions clearly aren’t his forté
  7. ok and what do you want me to do about that ?
  8. and that’s totally valid too dont worry. i think we’ve all outgrown friends or lovers and this is no different. that’s life, those things happen. tho maybe the rest of the album will give you more of what you want/need. or the album after. or the one after.
  9. and that’s fully okay, i hate country too don’t worry cwuack isn’t in my top 3 either. and i’m the first to say it would’ve been 10 times better with better mixing and better production cause the lyrics and melodies are really really good. just saying we know how things go with "the hated album" and it often gets more general hate than it should, only for people to change the narrative 5 years later cough cough honeymoon
  10. exactly, when i know for a fact every single person on here would eat up honeymoon from A to Z if it came out today right sjsjs her lazy eye fits so well i love her no i know you’re right but i get why people were expecting sumn different from mike. well at least it’s not a selena gomez rare mess so i guess that’s a win right
  11. tbh i don’t think that’s that bad in the long term. i mean most people hate her anyway nowadays and even if they don’t hate her they either stopped stanning her, aren’t interested in her and her music anymore or don’t wanna get to know her because they think she’s a racist weird witch even if she isn’t. and vice versa, she always hated fame, the industry, promotion... i’d rather she doesn’t say or do anything and gives us a ton of heavenly music in short time spans, which she always did, and just focuses on her life. cause the other option is forcing her to do and say things she doesn’t want to which would ultimately just result in her getting fed up, disappearing for ever and us losing her musical gift. so i guess her being silent and not being a "star" anymore is the price we have to pay for her music, which is kinda fine to me... even if it sucks at times. as long as she’s happy we should be too.
  12. PLS don’t act like 95% of their catalogue isn’t hip-hop or at least pop infused and this is neither
  13. here comes the cocc slander until next era when suddenly everyone will love how misunderstood and underrated cocc was and fake loving it from the beginning. will this cycle end some day it’s been a decade...?
  14. while we’re on the topic of yosemite can the insiders clean their ears out cause where on fucking earth is blue banisters a blend of yosemite and i don’t wanna go ? neither the production nor melody sounds like either of those songs stick to leaking info and not songs descriptions boos
  15. for what it’s worth, i looked at the shazam url numbers and interestingly: - WW = 570945346 - TB = 570945298 - BB = 570948002 so we can see ww and tb are the only ones in the 500-ish range. so it could be possible to find out other songs from the tracklist but one has to try every possible combination which seems to be a long and boring process aren’t there like apps or softwares or so that could try lots of code/number combinations in a matter of minutes to help us out ? help i’m so bad at this geek stuff
  16. sure but i still don’t see how and why she needed 3 hip-hop producers for a simple piano ballad? except if she kept their other mike collabs for the rest of the album or the album after in that case serve but it just doesn’t make sense to me. WW could’ve been made by jack or zach for exemple. that doesn’t mean i’m writing anything off i just find it... odd. especially since mike said they’ll combine his work with hers but his influence isnt felt at all. this feels more cocc follow up than the "return of the old hip-hop lana" everyone was hyping up
  17. then she might as well just write a note saying "tired of the fame bye xx" and deactivate cause she’ll get dragged like never before
  18. idk but i think it’s officially safe to say that we’re never ever getting something like those masterpieces again. now we officially now jack wasnt the sole problem in the production department. at this point some of us can be happy if we get another 13 beaches or cinnamon girl or so but even that doesn’t seem very likely anymore
  19. he’s not. just like, to me, nikki and the other flops aren’t on chemtrails either no collab since lfl WERE CONSTANTLY WINNING another rick song tho... idc i’d rob a bank, sell 2 kidneys he’ll i’d even unstan beyoncé for another rick/emile album. and those songs just want me to get one last sweet taste of them even more is what you are yes
  20. i still don’t see where y’all hear the return of "old lana" ? except that one note that sounds very btd and her using her lower register a bit more i don’t hear it... this is obviously nfr/cocc/violet lana but without jack’s compressed production. i wouldn’t call this the big return to her roots, like at all ? if anything it’s a continuation and harmonization of her classical lanaism songwriting mixed with her more modern poetic and current thoughts/expressions/headspace
  21. hmm... nah i won’t be satisfied until #that man isn’t attached to any of her work anymore. 16 tracks: 5 by gabe & zach, 5 by mike 1 unreleased 1 cover and 4 by rick now THAT would be something eh
  22. there’s times some of y’all really be saying anything on here and this is one of them
  23. idk what azealia, courtney, sean or that demon nikki lane did to her but something definitely switched since 2019
  24. so... will we start the mike lashings now or will that happen in 2 days when the hype wears off ? no but seriously it’s my fav track but i don’t get why she needed him, a hip hop producer, with 2 other hip-hop producers... all that for a piano track with some "drums" ? not a single hip-hop element in sight... like idk why the hip-hop producers then ? you tell me jack, zach, gabe or the lfl guy couldn’t have made that ? why specifically mike ? especially now that the album clearly won’t be very hip-hop-ish/lfl... i am confusion
  25. they do, they are in the singles section that’s separate from popular/new releases (god knows why???...) or just type them into the search bar
