  1. Yikes Google translate is so choppy! I only understood a few points
  2. Not me being too stupid to realize that the “court almost burned down my home” lyric is about Courtney Love [instead of actual court or a royal court]... ”on “Dance Till We Die,” her ladies-of-the-canyon-themed answer to Le Tigre’s “Hot Topic,” where she recounts dancing with Joan Baez and putting out a house fire with Courtney Love” -Rolling Stone’s review
  3. Is there a place we can read it? Where’d you find it?
  4. IS THIS EXCITEMENT AND TRUST I FEEL IN THE PROCESS THIS TIME?! mom come pick me up, I’m scared
  5. YESSS! Benito Skinner with “YoU CaN’t DaNcE to ChEmTrAiLs” literally me every time I play WD https://www.instagram.com/reel/CMvX5myBc1Z/?igshid=1okdf21ge4gns

  7. TJF on Spotify’s Front Left playlist, ayyyyy https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DX5WTH49Vcnqp?si=9gV3vb7LSG6krcFusw6n6g
  8. I did think it was interesting that Rick mentioned in the Music Week interview that they have a bunch of “new songs” like unreleased ones. The fact that they interviewed Rick at all made me think he’ll be involved more in her next project.
  9. I saw someone say he used it, but I think it’s a rumor—I never saw it. This is the tweet:
  10. I definitely think this was planned and she has so much more in store purely because of LDR Village saying check back each week for new stuff..........
  11. It could be that she didn’t have four songs leftover from COCC/intended for COCC that she saved, but rather started new and fresh in the studio going in a different direction with new songs as early as whenever her and Jack completed COCC. So in a way, she could have had more than four songs for RCS at that time but that wasn’t Annie’s question I don’t think—it was framed more as are there leftovers from the COCC sessions and Lana answered no, not really. IT GIVES ME HOPE FOR A BRAND NEW SOUND!
  12. OMG I HAD NEVER SEEN THIS AND WE NEED A WHOLE ALBUM OF ROCK-YELL LANA
  13. The record shop only has LDR posters for Chem, WD, and DBAJG... I wonder if that means DBJAG will get a video before we officially enter RCS era ????????
  14. Wait where did she say it’s delayed? I haven’t seen it
  15. omg oh no but ROCK CANDY SWEET JUNE 1 !!! https://instagram.com/stories/lanadelrey/2533836972255101433?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&igshid=12gxl6ohsis7l
  16. I vibe with narwhal now! I wasn’t sure I loved it as much as some other tracks but this part is constantly stuck in my head... The thing about men like you Is you got a lot to say But will you stay?
  17. What’s the difference between these two tweets? Is it the difference between the Billboard charts w/ streaming included (#2) and physical album sales (#1)?
  18. Does anyone find themselves revisiting UV because of the looseness/improv/live feel of COCC? Not that they are super similar, but they have a similar spirit and spring season vibe that makes me want to playlist them together on shuffle. To me, COCC is like an older, stripped down, wiser and estranged cousin of UV’s sensibilities
  19. Reposting this without a spoiler tag now that everyone has heard the album! Check your sun, moon, + risings bbs THE ZODIAC SIGNS AS COCC SONGS Aries: Wild at Heart (passionate, adventurous, evades routine) Taurus: Let Me Love You Like a Woman (serene, soft, ruled by Venus) Gemini: Dance Till We Die (penchant for fun, duplicitous first 3/4 to last 1/4) Cancer: Yosemite (sensitive - “burning at both ends,” nurturing, loyal) Leo: Chemtrails Over the Country Club (warm and dynamic w/ an appreciation of the material meets celestial world) Virgo: For Free (peace in nature or the natural state of the world, methodical, and traditional) Libra: White Dress (aesthetic visions, equality-prone re: “men in music”, idealistic) Scorpio: Tulsa Jesus Freak (sensual, bold + dark, slight sarcasm/kitsch) Sagittarius: Not All Who Wander Are Lost (adventurous, spontaneous, optimistic) Capricorn: Breaking Up Slowly (pragmatic, enduring, sense of responsibility to address the situation) Aquarius: Dark But Just a Game (inventive, eccentric, free-spirited, wanting to avoid conforming to fame) Pisces: White Dress (dreamy, devoted, reflective, hopeful)
  20. I was thinking this too, I do think it’s the institution and that will be a powerful theme of the next album aside from the poetry book! ~LiZzY & ThE YeEhAw gIrLz~ (Just kidding, I’m positive it will be great)
  21. No IMO, he said some of the songs came together just messing around in the studio after NFR was already done, and that closing one chapter gives freedom to go in a totally new direction
  22. Jack’s Insta post about Chem w/ pics from the studio https://www.instagram.com/p/CMoHp9kJyiR/?igshid=1iw8gycp7irmc
  23. Yes, she is always put on New Music Friday and All New Indie - WD is on both of those. LMLYLAW is on Indie Pop and Chemtrails is on Ultimate Indie.
