I am a drag artist, just coming into the local scene and making a name for myself. I was 15 years old when the shooting at Pulse nightclub happened, and I came out to my family and friends a few months later. I told myself life was too short to pretend to be something I’m not. It was the first brave thing I ever did for myself. Years later, my grief has turned to hatred for those who wish/bring violence on my community under a false guise of misguided religious bullshit. I’m tired of it. Rest In Peace to those angels <3

Well to be fair I think jack was the only one who used the word “bombastic”. And imo, I feel like the short progression of the piano we heard could be a really emotional ballad, it remind me of ocean swells.

I was at that Orlando concert. I remember seeing law enforcement everywhere literally 10 minutes after she performed and had no clue what was happening until I saw the breaking news when I got home. I hope Lana doesn’t have to deal with him. He literally had tickets and a knife in his jacket, who knows what he could’ve done.

WAIT… she announced midnights as a visual album?? Maybe Lana makes an appearance as a mermaid on the beach

I do wish it wasn’t so hyped as if it was going to be a duet, she shoulda just left it as a lil Easter egg because people def would’ve realized it’s lana in the background halfway through the song. Woulda been a cool Suprise

Listened with my head phones and all I can say is cute! Nothing crazy mind blowing, but it was a nice listen and with head phones you can really hear Lana in the melody. She added a nice touch to the song. I’m not a huge tay tay fan but I was vibin

Also, just a thought. We don’t know the exact timeline, but Ben has consistently talking about how great of an album it is and how proud of Lana he is for months. I think it’s safe to say all of the songs for the album are fine since there’s probably select people with other access to it, and we know she unfortunately had to wipe her laptop Something about the timing of the video is telling me she’s actively trying to solve this

She’s always dealt with weirdos and it’s so awful. I was there in orlando in 2018 when that guy tried to kidnap her. I remember how scared she sounded at the next concert in the videos I watched. She’s had her laptop stolen before, house broken into, cars stolen etc. I better not hear anything about wanting to listen to leaks from yall, I feel like this album is gonna be really special for some reason.

So I watched “misery” with Kathy bates for the first time. The plot kinda reminded me of Lanas situation. A writer (who is very adamant about telling his story and writing being his art), gets stalked/kidnapped by a crazy fan who ends up destroying their work. But out of it comes a story that he writes for himself. Lanas been through a lot with people invading her space and it’s so unfair. Of course we all want music, but i was so looking forward to the poetry book. I know she can create another masterpiece, but above all I hope she’s at peace.

So here’s my guess. Haven’t listened really but from what I’ve read, it’s not out of character for Lana to do more of a background vibe when she does collabs. Also probably why she didn’t promote it or post about it. A win for taylana stans and Taylor antis lmao yall got a compromise. Maybe this means that #waistdeepinicywaves is for lana then
