i love her album trailers, she always has had them so i expect COCC will.... and they could literally be posted whenever she's never consistent with that but i feel like it also has to do with the purpose of the album trailer, some have more storytelling aspects so maybe they should come out earlier and some are more song based so they should come out later. i guess we'll see </3

i know you posted this an hour ago but i was eating lunch .... but i just wanted to add that it's not the CRITIQUES and valid, on topic, relevant statements about lmlylaw or NFR that i was getting annoyed with. neither are perfect and if people have different opinions voice them as long as they're relevant to chemtrails. i was just saying we should try to have less negative energy on this thread because snappy behavior is neither fun nor interesting and will get moved to the random conversation thread 1/2 the time and get mods annoyed whereas making relevant and not just "hot take" comments about her body of work IS fun and interesting to read and think about. i enjoy reading actual relevant critiques on jack and nfr and lmlylaw so post as much as you want. people can say whatever they please but i was also just recommending we attempt a day of positivity or at least less unhinged negativity on this lovely saturday

this thread becomes more hostile each day the neverending LMLYLAW, jack, and NFR slander is becoming too much... i'd like to send jack an anthrax envelope as much as the next person (jk i don't hate him don't give me a wp i'm not actually hostile) but sometimes slander is not the most effective way to have a conversation. negative energy THRIVES in this thread right now and it's making us all insane... love you all but if you're feeling cruel just close the tab and take a nap. instead let's lift up what we have of COCC and CELEBRATE it!!!! our fav sunrise/sunset album - the first half being the sunrise, the second half being the sunset. our fav turquoise/green/white/sepia warmth album. i can't wait and we only have 20 DAYS. like less than 3 weeks. less than the time between thanksgiving and christmas. and i'll be on spring break from classes it'll be so beautiful.

time flies by when you're having fun... sadly for us we are not having that much fun especially with the lack of FOOD we are being given related to chemtrails. im loving the moon pics though and random content is better than silence. currently chemtrails feels like a very grey album to me, probably because of the winter and how disgusting it is outside and the black and white vibes. UV had black and white but thanks to the mvs and release and general feeling it's a very firey, red-hot, warm, maybe so hot its blue and white, album to me chemtrails mv was very blue and green with hints of red and orange fire and the alt cover is very blue green so i'm thinking NFR bluesy greensy vibes x UV firey vibes x HM tropical sun blue green vibes and warmth. praying for that actually but im just rambling, i have to do work and i refuse to, so let me ramble about the colors of this album and how it translates to sound and vibe... incredible. i hope the main colors and color vibes end up being bluesy, greensy, whitesy, hints of red and orange for warmth and fire, but largely an oceanic, natural, white hot, mountaintop, hiking, yosemite, tree lake water color pallette

i love nfr but i haven't listened to it recently and i basically listen to honeymoon everyday.... so... honeymoon vs art deco

i can't imagine lmlylaw or chemtrails on NFR either! i do HOPE and pretty much believe that they'll be distinct from each other and you couldn't just shove all the songs in a hat and pull half out and call it an album and have it make sense. i think my concern is just that COCC will end up blending into NFR too much, and not be distinct on its own, because i've just appreciated the strange twists and fun, different choices she's made between each of her albums before. but honestly if we don't get that, i'm absolutely fine with it, like couldn't be more okay. it's just something that's made me love her albums in the past and really separates them into individual masterpieces for me. and i do kind of believe that we WILL get it, and they'll be relatives, but not too close like incestuous ones.

off topic from what you're talking about but i think we can all agree that people have been extremely distraught and unhinged every era since BTD. maybe even before, idk i haven't seen. not one of her albums is the exact same as the last, and naturally this is going to disturb people who liked that sound. lana is an ever changing enigma and that's one of the reasons i love her... she's always somewhere different. this is probably MY only real concern about cocc – the tracks so far are pretty different from NFR, but i still don't know if i have real faith in jack to give us something different. he very well might, and having a similar sound isn't the end of the world, and i'm still so excited... but chemtrails might be more of a moment after NFR than a moment on its own. again, not the end of the world. but i appreciate the singularity, the independence of each of her albums. i'm hoping it stands on its own well and i BELIEVE IT WILL

i don't know.... i checked for the UK because someone said it showed up for them there but it didn't show up. i think people are clicking on the link that's being shared that's set to the philippenes i've been able to do this for the past month the little sound bars move when i click it when i first enter the album... same with every other track if i do it a certain way... so i don't know if this means anything special

i think it'd be more upsetting if i stayed awake until 3 AM and nothing was released than if i missed out on the initial excitement... the site would probably crash anyways it's all about pros and cons, and keep in mind... even though i'm team delulu all the way... there's NO objectively concrete proof this is coming out tonight, even if there's some weird pieces of evidence... just my thoughts
