yes there are so many i LOVE even if it's more upbeat or girly or bright, i should have made that more clear gadlk;hfgs... i could probably count on both hands the songs i don't like that much in her entire discography (which is HUGE so that's a massive feat. and i'm usually very picky with music). i'm totally in the same boat as you in that i love basically all of her work so much. and i also think yes to heaven is kinda overrated... what taste queen of disaster is honestly a huge outlier, i'm not sure why it gets on my nerves so much when there's probably 8+ songs that sound pretty similar in her discography that i LOVE. so i don't really get it

i don't know if this unpopular on lanaboards but it most definitely/probably is among the gp/non lb lana fans.... i can't stand queen of disaster i don't mind the verses, i actually might like them, but the chorus is so annoying to me i can't handle it... the only part i truly LOVE is the background screaming and ahhhhing.... but ughdsghjfkdhlzgj i can't deal with most of the song. it's probably also because it's one of her most well known unreleased, and also i heard it before i even really got into lana not knowing it was her so it just feels very middle school and immature to me

while we're at it we can rank her track 4s (in the spoiler)... i don't know if it'd be more or less dramatic than ranking title tracks... but even though i love LMLYLAW it'd definitely fall in the middle of the road for me because i love a lot of the others and LMLYLAW doesn't overtake them

wow the way i knew this wasn't true but checked anyways anyways i hope she posts something today, or tomorrow, or sunday, like the little weekend posts last week, and hopefully there'll be a date this time or some sort of more solid statement

i want to fall asleep but i can't so why don't i write a rambling 12:30 am post. im unbelievably excited for this album, i was listening to sirens today and was almost moved to tears just by the pure sweetness, tremble, softness, comfortable feeling of her voice. it sounds like someone is sitting next to me on the couch as i fall asleep on their shoulder and they sing me to sleep. i'm not scared or worried at all about this album being folkier or more country, and in fact the more countryish tracks like wild at heart and even bus are the ones i'm most excited to hear. her countryish, folkish, sirensish stuff is just so so so moving and gorgeous, and she's changed so much since she wrote those songs, that i can't wait to see what this album looks like. this album feels like it has one foot in the future and one foot in the past. she asks "let me love you like a woman"... "talk about the good old days", she pleads, "like when we were kids"... "it's never too late, baby, so don't give up"... i can't wait to see how this idea expands. it sort of seems like a call to the future to be like the past – give me back what i had, let me do and get back what i want. i'm also really interested in her use of jewels/birthstones/precious stones in LMLYLAW and COCC, she sings about "diamonds", "turquoise", and "jewels" – plus pearls in the cocc mv, purple rain potentially could be amethysts? i could see turquoise being a nod to sean/barrie (prob not)/some other december birthday as it's the december birthstone. but mostly i'm very curious as to whether this motif will occur throughout the album or just on these two songs fin

honestly this past week was better in terms of prerelease impatience and annoyance than any week in february for me, that month is like being in groundhog day, it's purgatory, i absolutely despite it. especially because she bookmarked the month with white dress teasers but we still haven't heard any of it, don't know when it's coming, etc..... and there were so many days of drama and chaos and unhinged behavior on this site. not that that's gotten any better so far this month... but i think we all feel closer to the finish line than we did on the 26th... thank god
