90 minutes might sound really insane but there's probably a lot of procedures paramedics need to go through before they can remove a patient from a scene. it's always not just a manic rush to the hospital. i'm sure the paramedics knew what they were doing in that situation. i touched on this a few months ago in a status but when i saw that person who got hit by a car, a good portion of time (an hour to an hour and a half) was spent on the scene. they weren't moved for a very long time. paramedics need to assess the injuries and provide the immediate care the person might need before they can transport them. unless any actual claims of malpractice come from sophie's close friends / people who were present don't be quick to project anger. i'm sure they were only doing their best to save her in the middle of a global pandemic. i know it's hard though. a lot of people will want something to blame, but in reality this was just a tragic accident. i'm sure any of us wish we could have changed that.

it’s really a strange feeling when one of the girls dies. it happens so irregularly and it really faces you with your own mortality. the kind of emotions that come from a situation like this are really complex. i’m really sorry to all of her really big fans, i wish we could bring her back.

okay so i know literally nothing about this situation but my two cents just from face value: trans people don’t have to earn their pronouns, even if you’re pissed off with them. they’re allowed to be sad of course, but it kinda of evil imo to do that’s to trans people. especially someone you’ve apparently loved. but that’s more of a tell of their character and that’s their problem.

i think one thing that should be commented that maybe isn’t brought up - sophie not only had a huge influence on the entire industry but a huge influence on local music cultures in glasgow as well. every indie, electronic, max-msp wielding art school student in this city is in the likeness of her. a true legend locally and internationally.

i’m going to presume that if they haven’t said anything by now they’re probably going to honour the order. it would probably be really difficult trying to cancel all those orders. they probably just amended the listing after their mistake but they’ll still ship the ones that were ordered unless you’re told otherwise by them, but they’ve had enough time to notice all the orders from outside the U.K. and send out an email, and they definitely know about the outside orders because they changed the listing, so i guess you’re all good!

FYI for collectors: sound of vinyl package is normally far nicer for vinyl and packaging quality. wraith got me two limited vinyls from there and they were absolutely lovely.

smack dab in the middle of hollyweird! i have a feeling its real. the guy that's selling them seems to sell a lot of really random music memorabilia, so he's not targetting lana fans, and in some he states they're real and some not, so at least we have that to go on. also, the design for this was definitely custom made for a mug, which i don't know why some guy who knows nothing about lana would randomly go to the effort of designing that. he had to crop the image from the textless, get the album and artist logos to re-size them and move them and then add the gradients on the edges. it seems like a lot of effort for some random guy to go to. also, all of the custom mugs he has listed on his page have terrible designs / basic designs on them, so i don't believe he specifically put the effort into making these i CAN, however, believe this was a rushed design for a promo mug that wasn't given much thought other than to be given out - now that i have the mug i've realised the top has a block of black that they obviously forgot to do a wee gaussian blur on in photoshop i think the gradient on the top is supposed to match the bottom but they forgot to blend out the top. that's so funny. my gut from that is telling me its real

chemtrails mug arrived! there's no other details on it other than the design. the base of the mug is kind of strange? idk how to describe it, it just has a very irregular feeling base because of the way it's been glazed. it's not a huge thing but i'm just pointing it out for the sake of it.

you can't, it's only by being given a link. i think that's what happens - spotify users are emailed links and then they can give them out. they can't technically verify if you have a spotify unless they did the transaction on spotify i support.

LOVE LOVE LOVE omg i want to hang it on my wall

i think this album has a strange place in my heart because it kind of feels like it hasn’t aged well but it kind of feels like it has? like when i listen to the music it’s all fantastic. even the worst songs on born to die or the ones that lost their shine are still immaculate songs, but i feel like i’ve internally run this album to the ground. i’m actually going to try listening to this album less in the hopes it’ll be better when i go back. i remember at one point i realised i hadn’t listened to video games in awhile and i cried when i first listened to it again lmaooo. but saying all of this, when the paradise tour leaked it felt like rediscovering this whole era. the dark paradise live studio was so beautiful, it really took me back. i think that’s why i can’t ever say this album hasn’t truly aged well. it’s just an album that’s supported me so much throughout my life that i recognise her all too well.

i understand the quote was definitely about her actually wanting to die, which was really sad, but for me looking at the video alone, that audio on top of all those vids of her being a bad bitch makes it feel more that way. but i guess either way is a totally valid way of looking at it. regardless, i hope she’s doing okay this year. last year was pretty hard :/
