Electra's Lana Del Rey Collection Masterpost January 23th, 2021 Soon to become the biggest heap of shit any LDR fans own. Officially at 341 pieces of individual official merch. okay so it's been two months since i've last posted my list and i was starting to lose track of what i had so i wanted to add everything up again. obviously we've had an album drop too so i'm excited to add that stuff to my list! for those of you who look at my collection posts you'll know i like to add things before i receive them just so i don't lose track of everything. speaking off, more and more people are getting their violet orders shipped and i'm not :/ it was a big order though, i hope it ships in like the next two weeks. i have a lot of stuff i'm looking at buying on ebay over the next few days as well, so this list is gonna increase again i probably should have waited but i really wanted to know what my current total is. it's starting to look like i might hit 400 by the end of the year BUT we've just had a merch drop that increases the number a lot. in reality, it's getting to the point where i have so much stuff that there is very little left for me to collect - what's left is either super rare or super expensive and i can't afford it :^( i hit my goal last year of obtaining 75% of all the merch she's ever released (this doesn't include magazines or discography items, just cold hard merch). i kind of want to hit 100% by the end of the year (which is about just under 50 more items) but as i've said, the problem is that a lot of this stuff just doesn't come up on ebay or i've been looking for years and just haven't been lucky. consider the fact i've only recently obtained 75% (73/96) of the surf shop merch alone :/ i might not for sure have the biggest collection number, but i definitely have the most official / biggest range of items from what i've seen. or the most "complete" collection. anyway, i've decided to redesign this a little bit so you guys can see the numbers. next time when i can be bothered i might add the amounts of variants in a collection versus how many i have. for anyone interested i have my collectors instagram where i'll be debuting my new website - @yourolllikethunder on ig! it's a site for lana collecting. i'll also be doing a very big giveaway when i announce it at the end of next week. multiple winners and some rare prizes :^) CD's (Total: 18) Vinyl's (Total: 35) Box Sets (Total: 7) Cassettes (Total: 7) Apparel (Total: 79) Magazines (Total: 81) Books (Total: 5) Lighters (Total: 2) Postcards (Total: 25) Posters and Leaflets (Total: 30) VIP Merch (Total: 19) Bags (Total: 3) Cups (Total: 3) Towels (Total: 2) Misc. one of three theories i have; They will be sent to physical Liverpool stores (unlikely due to Covid / stores not being open) They will be sent randomly with an order (unlikely as Lana never really does anything like that). They will be released for sale, presumably around the same time the rest of the signed stuff goes live. i have a feeling that because this is a charity single, and they obviously want to get rid of the stock for charity, they're going to upload them at some point during the album cycle as a kind of "quick add-on" for stans so that they can shift the stock. similar to recently how a lot of the NFR merch went on sale just before the COCC pre-order. obviously lana's team would never care to have her sign old merch to get the stock shifted so the next best thing is putting it on sale - but I doubt they would put a charity vinyl on sale...so the next best way to shift copies? have her sign them. that's my theory for now at least. i'm just waiting for them to either drop or for a mad panic when someone randomly gets sent a signed copy or they turn up in a liverpool store.

a lot of people's circumstances can change. we don't know the history of her relationship with her parents. i think a lot of people presume that because lana sings about how she admires her parents or is seen with them a lot that she has a good relationship with them, which we now know is false with Patti. i mean, i've literally had people indirectly make comments about me on this site (probably because of my lana collecting) presuming that i'm rich or this or that but actually, i'm not. there were times in my childhood where we were particularly poor and my parents just kind of hid it from us. there were a lot of things i didn't question as a kid and i only realised when i was a teen/adult that made me realise things weren't actually great. but, i mean, if you looked at my family NOW you would think everything was all right. my mother now owns her house, i've almost finished my university degree and moved out, we're a little but more stable even if we're not rich. and most importantly i support myself as an adult and can afford my own things. everyone situation is different. it wouldn't surprised me if post-living with her parents she really was struggling. $10,000 isn't a lot to eat, sleep and make an album on, especially if she worked over multiple months. you guys really need to stop judging people for talking about times in their life where they may have struggled just because you feel like you can't "see it".
