Do we really believe that Lana only makes music for herself? She reads every single piece of work written about her and she seems to crave critical acclaim. We can't forget her face after not winning in the Grammys. She probably would be extremely happy winning album or song of the year. Very few artists doesn't really care about what people have to say. There's nothing wrong in craving respect

Lana was so brave for bringing this up. I had a terrible relationship with my mother when I was a child and that set us apart forever. And it wasn't even real abuse (not compared with what I had seen over there), but it still was a very abusive relationship at a young age. I can't even remember my childhood because I had to repress everything to still have a relationship with my mother. My heart really stopped and my mouth got dry when she said that line.
