Today Was A Fairytale is so different in the re-recording to me. It used to sound much more playful and had those little instrumental details (like the little chimes when she goes “the way you kissed me”). It’s lost in the new mix.
Taylor’s vocal weaknesses helped sell the youthfulness and naïveté of Fearless. But I respect her reasoning for re-recording

it’s not about a 30 year old singing her teenage songs or that the lyrics aren‘t good: the new bonus songs just don’t catch, are deadly monotonous. assume she just put them on the record as nobody would have cared about the re-recorded tracks except her die-hard fans + there wouldnd have been any re-recordings if she wasnt in trouble with her former label and SB.
it feels like they just played around with the sound and instruments and not really re-recorded the vocals except for the new 6 tracks.
too overproduced for my taste-the original album is zillion times better, raw and pure.

„Lover“ will be another record-breaking album and will have another record-breaking tour!
Her 3 singles are amazing and fun. As her fan I don‘t feel the need to get super deep lyrics for every album she
releases. At one point in life enjoy the small things and just have fun and don‘t think too
much. Simple lyrics or simple melodies? This album will be a blast anyway, it will be a worldwide #1.

Since 'HAW' came out I have not read or watched any interviews with Avril. But yesterday I found the interview with Zach and loved it so much that I started to watch old and new stuff on YouTube.
I think these 3 interviews are very inspiring:
Plus: 'It was in me' will be her next single. Good choice though. Always have tears in my eyes when I listen to that one.
Pretty excited to see some US tour vids from fans and hope she will come to Europe too.
