i dont see lana going country this album... i really dont, especially if all the jack tracks are gone.

thats what i mean! im not against the delay, im not mad at her, and im looking forward to a more well thought out album. i just think that since her fans are the reason she has this career, she should probably feel some sort of obligation to at least keep them in the loop and not put out bullshit dates for every recent album cycle.

im not that upset with lana but to say she doesnt owe her supporters anything is kinda wrong... yes its her art but we literally pay her bills and the only reason she has this career is because of her fans. thats objectively true so i wouldnt say she owes her supporters nothing.

in lanas eyes, she probably thinks that since we just got an album and 3 new singles, that those will tide us over if theres a delay. that doesnt change how unprofessional she’s being but im sure that’s her mindset and honestly i dont think shes crazy for thinking that. im just not the biggest fan of chemtrails and the singles are okay.. so i wanted something new.

part of me thinks that since shes already released an album this year and it did really well with the physical releases, they might be giving her a pass since this album is kinda a bonus... idk how things like that work with contracts n everything but im thinking that could be the reason why shes allowed to not promote.

does boz have a complete tracklist since she changed it?? if so.. that probably means the album is finished. and if theres theres no news on a delayed date.. its probably because its stayed the same. idk i have hope

lana is being unprofessional but that doesnt mean anything or say anything about her relationship with fans. shes an artist. she’s probably taking her time to release everything n make it perfect in her eyes. it could still be coming july 4th considering the singles were a surprise and she still has yet to even acknowledge them. all this mess says about lana is that she’s unprofessional when it comes to release dates and promo. its not that deep.

yeah i literally dont blame her at all for never really interacting with fans or even caring about her image anymore. she’s so criticized to the point that, if i were her, i wouldn’t want to be famous anymore. a good chunk of her fans are just horrible. its so sad.

i do have to say... yosemite has probably the most immature and obvious song writing of lanas career.. i think the song has an unmatched n beautiful atmosphere but the lyrics are almost embarrassing to me. “seasons may change, but we wont change” is way too cliche and obvious for lana. i hope she has better writing on this album
