this is a great idea i totally agree with this. leave the news to a news thread and let the pre-release thread be hype n fun

the gifs n personalities on this forum are literally why i joined. plus this thread isnt hard to navigate at all if you just keep up with it. we’re hype for a new album n wanna talk about all things lana that could or could not have influenced this release. pages n pages of funny n lighthearted posts some even completely related to the topic have been moved for no reason. let people have fun. i can see a ton of members becoming inactive in the near future because of it.

i totally agree :/ the littlest bit of fun is seen as off topic. thats why i havent been posting much bc most of my posts get moved its just not worth it lol

i agree. the only jazz i hear is in textbook. i hate to say it but i do think its going to be similar to COCC. maybe a little less folky but basically the same idea. i dont feel like she gave herself enough time in between albums to come up with a whole new sound.

i hope we get some sound that grows from the title track and TJF. i feel like those sounds weren’t explored as much as i would like them to be on Chemtrails.

ive always loved this album. i know sometimes it seems messy n all over the place but it is truly an amazing record. i love all of the sounds n topics lana tapped into. there’s something for everyone honestly. happy b-day girly we love you

she said she “didnt quite reach what she was going for” with COCC. you could tell there was self-doubt n her just being generally unhappy with how the record turned out. i feel more confidence from her with this era though
