idk i think its more the colors are representative of their own individual meanings. like blue for lana is usually sadness, pain, depression, etc. where as grey represents resilience and strength and green represents growth and new beginnings. i do think the bruises metaphor is really interesting but it kind of seems like a reach considering that bruises kinda turn yellow-ey when they heal n not green and grey. plus theyre more red/purple/grey when theyre new.

summer is the prime time for a lana del rey album and that is objective. you think i wanna listen to songs about mid-july n summer heat in the dead of december??? no.

lana is already out of this world and extremely talented. i just wish she would give her art a chance of really shining again with amazing videos, trailers, interviews, etc. since lfl, i havent seen her create a world for her albums. theres no real visual escapism to her music anymore. i believe this all comes with lana being a much more grounded person these days where she doesnt feel like exaggerating or twisting reality a bit like she may have used to. shes more interested in documenting her life the way it is and making the ordinary beautiful.... although that in of itself is interesting n exciting to see, i really miss being submerged in lanas world.

yess!! i think the intention and meaning behind BB would make it a great opener. im hoping she reworks it to have some beautiful spacey piano at the beginning kind of like how it drones out at the end of the song.

i really hope BB is the only one of the three singles that makes it on the album. i know boz said all three were on there but i just dont see them being sonically cohesive with BB, thunder, cherry blossom, and the new single. i guess we’ll just have to see.
