    Sufjan Stevens

Get the tissues ladies! When his music hits, its my favorite of all time, but when it misses, I can't even listen to it... I'm always excited to hear his evolving sound though manifesting
  5. The album starts and the first thing we hear: "sylvia"
  6. I do hope she delivers on the visuals again. NFR slapped but the videos were mediocre (in my opinion). They felt more complementary to the music for aesthetic and not building on anything. COCC music video slapped but felt off for the song it was representing. I hope RCS has a more cohesive visual palette but also she'd never
  7. I have no clue but Tulsa Jesus Freak is definitely about mr cop so its hard to figure out a timeline with this album
  8. the thread will go silent... then when we least expect it, she will drop a 20 second low-res video with a broken smoke alarm in the background and there will be 100 new pages. rock candy sweet forever <3
  9. I hate to say it, I hope I don't sound ridiculous but Taylor Swifts lyrics are so embarrassing. The production can be literal magic and everything I want in a song and then she says something like "then you hold my hand and crush my plans" and I can't deal Willow was so beautiful then mama said "but I come back stronger than a 90s trend" and I never streamed again
  10. rock candy sweet dropping in 5 minutes the way we won
  11. Mine literally changes with the seasons but here's the recent vibes: 1. Ultraviolence (everything I want a more. no skips. my perfect vibe.) 2. NFR (essentially tied for first place but the few songs that don't hit, really don't hit for me...) 3. COCC (recency bias plays into this but Wild at Heart and Tulsa Jesus are instant classics for me) 4. Born to Die (not my vibe but its fun to revisit and contains a handful of her most iconic songs and lyrics) 5. Honeymoon (definitely her best cohesive body of work but its soooo niche and vibey that its hard to stream) 6. Lust for Life (the last 3ish sings are good enough to bump this up to 5, but I can't do that to Honeymoon)
  12. which unreleased songs are y'all manifesting for rcs?
  13. 9.69/10 invented patriotism. ended all wars. everyone moved.
