well she never confirmed it obviously but i do think that's the "leading" guess.. it's something she never talked about before really besides wfwf and a few mentions in fingertips. i also think the serene queen reference could have to do with lana's meds, like perhaps she's saying "i needed some time off the meds to be "me" but then i got back on it to be the "serene" queen everybody expects me to be" .. ? idk there are literally so many ways to interpret that song and the message of certain lyrics

oh i'm obsessed with womb the chorus is giving generic happy FUN pop

some (lots) of these lyrics and melodies are annoying (or weak) but can we all agree that melanie's "angry voice" that she often uses on this record is interesting and impressive, it's what separates this record from the rest of her records for me.. her pronunciation also sounds more intentional here than on previous records,, specifically on leeches (it's unfortunate the cuts between vocal takes aren't always polished properly, a good audio engineer could have made it much more convincing and some of these songs would sound MILES more "finished")

nothing (unfortunately) all it means is that a grand jury agreed with a prosecutor that there is probable cause that trump committed a crime indictments are very easy to come by because they are one-sided proceedings (so there is no defense for the jury to listen to because the proceeding is just to determine whether there is probable cause to believe a crime was committed).. and obviously jurors (who have no legal knowledge or background) tend to believe prosecutors and take their words at face value, which is why the phrase "indict a ham sandwich" exists and is also why this indictment doesn't mean much in reality
-
no.. anybody can (basically) get an indictment on anybody in the US.. there's a popular phrase in legal jargon that goes "indict a ham sandwich" which basically means if a grand jury could indict a ham sandwich they would.. so his indictment doesn't mean much at all

i wouldn't say a role model but an inspiration definitely yes.. i remember specifically one thing she said (in a chemtrails interview) where she was like "i'm never afraid to tell somebody exactly how what they did affected me. i'll be like i'm having a shitty day and it's because of you, i don't ever feel bad for saying that to someone" and for some reason that really stuck with me and since then i've been a much more confrontational person (not in an aggressive way) in my interpersonal relationships and they're all much better now and i'm much happier now (and the people who couldn't take accountability are out of my life) she definitely inspires me in many ways though, her courage to be uncompromising with her heart and her journey is beautiful, her generosity is something to be learned from, her poetry/songwriting is so honest that it makes me remember why i believe lots of the things i do and why i take such special care to preserve my sense of self, she's really just a huge inspiration to me in so many ways i love her

the mel's diner listening party anyone who got there after like 5:40PM had to wait about 4 hours to get in.. the music was so low volume that you couldn't hear the album.. colton (store owner) did try and make it work but.. it wasn't it on the bright side they did give out pins that were apparently "designed by lana with mel's, since she's a friend of the family, and she wants the fans here to know that she appreciates and loves you so much" i also talked to a guy who was hired by charlie to film/take pics of the event.. he was an open book LMFAO if only y'all knew.. he was adorable tho x

yeah it was really disappointing and like.. felt like a long long wait for nothing. tons of fans left upset.. i don't know why everyone's posting cute pics and not saying how terrible everything was 😭 i love my girl lanita but babe if ur charging $80 for a hoodie that costs you $12 to make can you at least please organize a good event?? they made at least ten times the money they spent on the event. it's just greedy and disorganized.. i doubt lana planned it but.. it's still her event 🤷♂️ the two security guards who ran the huge lines clearly had no training.. they were likely hired from indeed short term,, that's where most of the "security guards" with no proper licensing find work in LA
