at this point i'm consciously not paying attention to all the shit on j**k's part bc i know i'll be disappointed to find the similar things he recycles with different artists and it'll bug me forever and i won't be able to listen to lana's songs the same way, kinda like it happened with nfr and cocc trying to approach this new album with an open mind and so far i like AW much better than most of those two albums. even though i'm still more excited for songs that aren't produced by jack or at least not by him alone.

another thought i keep having is, the only color i associate with AW is black. like there's no glimpse of something light and bright at all. maybe that's what lana meant when she said there's no room for colors

i say i live in rosemead, really i'm at the ramada is stuck in my head i also listened to AW and title track one after another yesterday, and i thought however different they are, there are many similarities too. esp lyrically and thematically obviously, but the overall sound too (is it the production? honestly idk about the terms). i imagine we'll get a wide variety of genres and tones and moods, but the sound will hold the songs together and make them cohesive, kinda like the white album by the beatles. i love BB but i have to admit it didn't have this kind of cohesiveness at all.

the second part really is just as dark as the first one if not darker, but i can easily see how GA will perceive it only as something boppy, and in that sense it's the first time in a while we're having something like it as a single, even though every album had those songs- TJF on COCC, dealer on BB. there was FIILY ofc but for some reason the only comparison with AW i can think of is HBTB... it really does make sense eclipse mentioned it

what if the single cover is a pic from the interview photoshoot and that's why they're releasing on the same day and eclipse didn't see it yet

so if interview is supposed to accompany AW and it's comng out on feb 14 they can't change the release date for the single

feels like lana was up for a proper era for the first time in forever and her unprofessional team is what's messing it up now literally WHAT was the oceanblv acc for it makes no sense

if this almost a week won't be used for AW promo on oceanblvd account i have no idea what it was even created for if there's no music video i hope we get at least more neil krug photos, the single cover and a short snippet closer to the release
