don't remember about that tbh but what gives me hope is its design. nothing is easier than to change the text that isn't even on the picture itself also arcadia in the meaning of innocence, simple and quiet pleasure suits the current cover so well

honestly that's the only thing that worries me about the potentially new title

i go away for a day and there's that i'd love arcadia as an album title. makes me think of the serene queen

i understand what you mean and when i listen to previous albums i miss those kinds of songs too, the angry, hopeless ultraviolence, dreamy cinematic honeymoon. but i think what she's doing now isn't for critics or certain parts of audience, it really reflects how lana herself evolves. maybe it sounds naive but i see her as an almost independent singer songwriter expressing herself and her own experience through music, not a usual pop singer following trends. i miss those eras, moods and sounds, her unreleased from 2010-2013 are amazing. but they just don't suit her anymore. we change, she changes too and it doesn't always go along. but i personally just accepted it and watch what road she takes next, and i'm almost sure it won't be just piano ballads forever

also weyes blood's titanic rising! i'm afraid to have too high expectations but it still gives me hope for more interesting, rich and cinematic production (the likes of text book)

it will be slow and very personal, even more personal than COCC, it will start with piano songs, move to TB & more things like it, take a rockish break with thunder and return to piano in the end with a heartbreaking song. and so far BB gives me white dress/LMLYLAW/DTWD vibes (the BRIDGE I CRAVE for a whole song in that style) now that jack's gone i hope she will find a new sound though, even if it stays very stripped-down. idk, even with WW and BB you can tell it's something a bit different. not to be a jack hater i'm just tired of him and kinda want her to move on

it's still my favorite out of the three! partly just because it's not piano driven i mean i love ww and bb but text book kinda stands out. almost reminds me of honeymoon with all those details. really hope there are more songs with such production on the album

i love transition from freak to art deco but i also hate the fact you can't even hear it on vinyl cause they're on different records so yeah manifesting more on BB

the bruises theory makes literally zero sense if those colors mean anything at all then i'd like to think blue stands for sadness that man was about to bring, green and grey for calm and happiness she feels with her friends. and the "bruises" in covers are obviously bc of picsart filters.

same. it's not even just instrumentals or lyrics that bother me about BAR, the whole emotion is different from the demo. i love thunder and i hope it won't happen with it but i still can't really imagine how it would fit with the singles the way it is, maybe it'll be the next HBTB/TJF... i just hope that electric guitar isn't going anywhere

i NEEDED to get my thoughts out somewhere ever since march so! i actually loved the album, i wish there were more songs but it still feels compact and complete. it never seemed to me like a continuation of NFR, there are certain similarities, but all in all it's a standalone body of work. in particular because of how personal it is - probably the most personal album of lana's, i guess. BB might take that title tho, judging by the singles.

first time posting in another iconic messy pre release, hi everyone!! i keep coming back to the three singles and every time they grow on me a little more. TB was an instant favorite, the outro still gives me goosebumps, WW writing is amazing (I've been running on stardust alone for so long / I've been running on star drip IVs for so long ) and the vocals on BB, especially the santa clarita fires part!! i can't help but sing along. so excited for the album
