What was the first album you ever bought?

I think it was Bravo Hits 4 (a compilation album) on cassette in 1993, and not even a real version, but a fake copy from a Polish border market -

I have the feeling that Lana has given up on this project altogether. Some songs like Take Me Home will probably end up on Lasso, while others like Blues Skies will be hawked as individual songs, e.g. for soundtracks. -
the wrong release date, the absence from her YouTube channel, the hidden placement in her Spotify playlist ... I guess there will be no promotion, it's intentionally hidden

I'm not a big fan of BUS, but maybe we should give Nikki Lane a second chance. Not only is she a good friend of Lana's, but she's been a real country artist for years and her last two albums weren't that bad. I would prefer a collab with her more than with many other artists (including Taylor).

Beyoncé's first country singles are kind of disappointing to me, it won't be hard for Lana to top that. Take Me Home was already better.

there are industry analyses (I read one somewhere on the internet last year), so it wasn't Lana's idea, they are just following the trends but maybe Lana is a visionary because she started with country a few years ago

reality: - 11 tracks (like COCC) less than 50 minutes length - longest track under 6 minutes - basic country like Take Me Home - cover shoot by Chuck - half of the songs have features (Nikki Lane, Morgan Wallen, Chris Stapleton, Dolly Parton) - at least three covers (Take Me Home, Stand By Your Man, Jolene, ...) - at most one video (to compete in VMAs, EMAs and Grammys) - interviews in some magazines - promotion like her last albums - local tour in the Southern States
