  1. Taylors success is stunning. Her music is ok, nothing what knocks my socks off. Her activity on instagram is very reserved, she gets not much more likes than Lana in her posts, despite she has nine times as much followers.
  2. My current ranking is 1. Living Legend 2. Arcadia 3. Blue Banisters 4. Text Book 5. Cherry Blossom 6. Dealer 7. Thunder 8. Wildflower Wildfire 9. The Trio
  3. Maybe she/they want to test, how many people really like her music, without all the social media hype, promotion etc., like with the three singles dropped surprisingly in May with this unmotivated cover image ... It's very admirable that she wants to convince with her music only and nothing more.
  4. Mine was "Queen Of Disaster". I heard it on a random TikTok video and thought "wait, doesn't this sound like Lana?". Then I thought, wow, there's a song which Lana hasn't released and shortly afterwards I saw a list with hundreds of unreleased songs.
  5. Imagine the album releasing along with videos for text book, blue banisters and ww simultaneously like the three songs were dropped at the same time.
  6. Would like to have a video for Blue Banisters rather than another flopping single when the album is coming out.
  7. She was the answer to the "internet generation", most of her fans stream her music on spotify and apple music, she had more ig followers than Oprah, Arsenal London or Gisele Bündchen. So I think social media is more important than anything else for her.
  8. Sometimes I'm asking myself if she is really the type of person to wants to post such selfies or is it her management who urge her for promotion?
  9. American - Like an american Cherry - I fall to pieces French Restaurant - If I can't have you
  10. Most of them are getting paid for that (google 'make money with reaction videos'), I don't think much of it.
  11. Weekly album charts are somehow overrated, I think what really matters is how many copies are sold in a year or in a longer period of time.
  12. More and more backuped ig images are disappearing from the official site, only some older are still available: https://www.lanadelrey.com/social/ I don't really understand it.
  13. If I had to rescue one song in each placement for the posterity: 1. Cruel World 2. Blue Banisters 3. Shades of Cool 4. Brooklyn Baby 5. High by the Beach 6. Gods and Monsters 7. Pretty When You Cry 8. Yosemite 9. California 10. The Next Best American Record 11. Summertime Sadness 12. Black Beauty 13. Living Legend 14. Hope Is a Dangerous Thing for a Woman like Me to Have – but I Have It 15. Lucky Ones 16. Get Free
  14. From the random songs I heard so far: Angels Forever, Forever Angels BBM Baby Be My Daddy Boom Like That French Restaurant Go Go Dancer Yes to Heaven
  15. I don't know if someone is playing Ukulele, but just found this: https://ukutabs.com/l/lana-del-rey/arcadia/
  16. You can hear her music in different ways depending in which mood or state you are. For example in Arcadia everytime I listen to I notice different things: the slow falling chorus and outro, the smoothly brass and strings, her warm soft voice, the overall melancholy. Sometimes I wish I could hear her songs for the first time again!
  17. Has anyone heard the song already on the radio?
  18. the one with male voice and wolf pic on yt? (I hope Lana is going to scream at least like that)
  19. My connection with "thunder" is this picture, from the first video I saw on yt: https://www.instagram.com/p/CTe7abMreFQ/
  20. I think her videos need no special effects either, but in this case it was a good stylistic device projecting L.A. pictures (in warm colors) onto her body. This is a special song, she had never made such an emotional ballad and the effects aided to intensify emotions.
