I’d be fine if she was on this single if we weren’t expecting lasso related news. It’s just disappointing.

But commercial doesn’t equal good. A lot of her fans don’t love tough even though the gp does. I don’t think tough is bad I just think it’s meh.

As much as lana fans say they want trap songs, the trap songs on OB kinda ruined the album and made people complain about it, and nobody liked tough. Maybe we should just let lana write her ballads or whatever she wants.

Her music is fine but I just can’t get over how obvious the nepotism is. She clearly didn’t have to do any work, just copy Lana’s aesthetic. I also find it weird that she never really directly references Lana. There are so many better artists that deserve the resources she has.

It's kind of crazy to me how her beef with Lana really backfired on her. Wishing her the best though, I don't have much hope for her poetry but she's still such a talented artist if she just gave up on the weird performative activism.

I feel like Lana, Ethel, and Nicole are all similar not in that their music sounds the same, but they all have such vivid worldbuilding and aesthetics.
