Definitely looks like CGI, not AI, which is probably why she was scrambling for a bigger budget. It looks really good though, at least in the picture. I'm pretty sure it's a direct still from the new single too so I'm looking forward to seeing the video this Friday.

So I called it on the visuals being fucking gorgeous, her new IG post confirms. Still so pissed at some of the music but at least it's not totally bad.. also got some decent poetry this time unlike whatever that egg yolk shit was

Well this is officially a disappointment. I cannot believe we got such quality fucking leaks only to end up with this heinous shit like Spider Web, BOTL, Evil, and an even shittier version of fucking MOON CYCLE of all things. What the actual fuck is going on? I hate it here

A trailer would be cool, but I doubt it'd be ready this soon. Really not looking for any music video clips videos though. The snippets are enough of a tease for me and I'd rather not see bits and pieces of the videos before they're released. It would just spoil part of the fun of seeing them for the first time. I wonder how her backup dancers will be dressed and made up in this album. Hoping to see some exploration of different magical creatures in the designs.

Feels like something might have gone wrong and Melanie's team is doing their best to get past it without anything getting screwed up too bad. I just feel like the timing of the snippets/eggs/etc has gotten kind of weird out of nowhere when everything before seemed timed to a T.

Oh how I wish for her sake this were true, lol. She's been crucified before for all kinds of shit, like saying "I'm sorry, I'm talking" after being interrupted during a speech/performance. It's not fair, but she's a very polarizing artist so it's to be expected.

She shoots herself in the foot with this a lot. It's made her come across kind of shitty in the past, like her "You. Just. Don't. Get. It" post after rape/CSA victims were talking about being triggered by Tag You're It, and people were criticizing her use of sexual/otherwise inappropriate themes with literal child characters as the face of it all. She really needs to learn when to ignore something and help herself out. The spiritual rants are especially off putting in a very "I'm on a higher level of being than you mortals could understand" sort of way.

I see what she's saying and I agree, but I don't see why she felt the need to respond. "I'm sorry you feel disconnected from the energy of transformation" is definitely a bit much, and it's probably not even an adult that she's responding to. Some people are going to be disappointed in the changes being made in her sound and style, and that's just part of creating art. She seems to take herself(and criticisms of her) too seriously sometimes, and her spiritual rants can come across as egotistical, AKA the "If you think you don't like my music, it's because you. Just. Don't. Get. It" post. I know it's not always easy but I wish she would just do her thing and stop worrying about the critics.

I'm glad to see Melanie looking so happy with someone who seems to care for her and support her so much. She's gained a lot of weight, started taking more time for herself and expressing herself more personally, and seems much healthier in general. Being in a relationship with your best friend is one of the healthiest things. I hope they're as wholesome in private as they look on camera! P.S., big thanks to Verde for giving us some of the most gorgeous photos and videos of Melanie. They've got a great vision together and he has done an amazing job of helping to execute it.

I'm surprised so many people like Evil the most right now, but it is more in line with her past sound than the other snippets. I'm just put off by it seeming like it could've come straight from the K-12 era production wise, and some of the lyrics just don't really make sense to me. Especially "loving you was lethal, guess that makes me evil". To be fair though, I always prefer her darker/slower songs to this kind of pop. So it's probably just me not getting it.

She used to write so much better poetry than this. Somewhere in her attempts to be deep and expressive, she just started rambling and stringing sentences together that didn't make sense outside of her head. She can do so much better than this and it's time she realizes that and does something about it.

I don't like the song(sounds like K-12 2.0 to me) but the video is really cute. I just wish we weren't seeing all of these looks before the visuals. I'd rather have it be a surprise. I'm still hoping the eyes will move and blink in the music videos too, but they look pretty good here as is. Looking forward to full videos coming soon.

Really wouldn't have expected Limbs to be such a trend on TikTok already, while the snippets that were clearly targeted towards TikTok almost seem ignored. It kind of says something about what people are wanting from this era I think. As far as the cringey videos, I'm just glad to see people doing something creative and skilled instead of some shitty off-beat dance in the middle of a Wal-Mart. It's refreshing honestly

A lot of her recent writing is really "I'm 14 and this is deep". Pretty much all of K-12 is the poster child for this issue, but her singing about her period like it's some transformative spiritual experience that will ascend her to a higher level of consciousness is next level, lol. At least the song is catchy, I'll give it that, but the lyrics are atrocious

It was just a couple people acting dramatic and childish over a low quality snippet on TikTok. I also have a hard time believing she just didn't feel like posting a video for this one when she did for all the others, but who knows. We might still get one.

Wonder why she hasn't uploaded anything about that last snippet.. I can't imagine it's just because of the TikTok drama. I can't lie though, that was fucking hilarious. What did they expect sending these eggs to a bunch of teenagers with fanpages?

I'm honestly so confused at these past 3 snippets. They're not good, even compared to her shittier music. They sound childish as fuck, and the darker, mature production that we were hoping for after the leaks is clearly missing. EVIL snippet sounds especially ridiculous to me, I won't lie.. I guess this really could be K-12 all over again. Good visuals, crap music. I would chalk it up to our expectations being too high if I hadn't heard the proof myself that she can do so much better than this.

Some of these "snippets" have been really long(over a minute even). Not all, but some. Of course there's plenty of room for us to be surprised but still. It's not all just 10-20 seconds we're talking about here. And as far as the lyricism goes, Cry Baby may not have had perfect lyrics in every line, but the overall writing of the album is infinitely stronger than almost all of her later material. It delivers flow and rhythm that her new music doesn't, and the metaphors may have been on the nose at times but they weren't just corny. The names of the songs also fit way better with the theme than any of these new MM3 titles. I would love to have the same level of excitement for this album that I did a few months ago but I think I'm just going to have to wait and see what ends up coming out.

I was with her until Spider Web. Everything past that has not been for me, and the extreme vocal distortion isn't helping. I don't even mind the genre switch- my favorite new snippet segment has been "pipe down with the noise, I cannot bear my sorrow. I hate who I was before" from VOID. I just can't stand that her music seems to be regressing in maturity and quality lately. I was expecting more(or maybe less, in a good way) from all of this. But hey, it ain't about me.
