I'm gonna pre-order the Digital album+Limited Boom Clap vinyl at the beginning of November along with the Sucker, I can't wait, I'm excited to get the Sucker Vinyl when it's released too, it will look beautiful next to my True Romance one 

Here's the video from the Yahoo performance. It's split up by track, and is actually compiled from multiple recordings. I had glitches a few times, so this contains the best versions. Some the problems were consistent across all recordings, like the hard right-pan on "I Love It", so I think the problem was actually on the source.
 
The audio quailty is very different from Booky's version, so I've also included an extract of just the audio.

After watching this a few times, I've formed a few opinions. First, the drummer is really cute, but should try to remember to close her mouth. I also wish Charli had introduced her band members at some point during the set. Charli seems a bit bored with some of the True Romance tracks. She's definately more into performing the more recent stuff.
 
The newer stuff also seems better geared to live performance. Except Gold Coins. That song really is a dud, but she must have some attachment to it to keep it in the set. Also, say what you will about the lyrics to BTR (which even Charli says are stupid), but that song and London Queen are pure pop punk straight out of the 70's/90's.

How could y'all honestly hate on London Queen tho? It's a catchy fucking bop.

She wouldn't know how the video would be edited and most likely wasn't there when the bus scenes were filmed. I do feel bad for Charli, though, because Rose McGowan thinks she's insulting the director when she's really insulting Charli. Charli was so excited to have her in the video and loved the outcome, then her hero later slams it in public. 

I imagine she probably thinks Charli is just a music industry puppet following the director's orders and doesn't know much about her. I want Charli to find out and respond tbh

When Break The Rules came out, I remember @@iseeyouupsidedown said something like 'get ready for people to make getting raped jokes when she says getting wrecked' and i was all who the fuck is gonna think rape it doesn't even sound like that. anyway a few days ago my brother was all 'is she saying getting high and getting raped'

The studio version has grown on me a lot, I like it so much more now

My biggest problem is probably the bridge... It's so quiet and anticlimactic. The song just isn't as "full" production wise as it could be. It feels very tame for a punk inspired pop song. I don't like how in the bridge she does the "oi oi oi" and then silence... It could be some kind of heavy drum thing...
 
Also, it's interesting that in the rolling stone article about the song she admits she didn't write it...

The more I listen to London Queen, the more I wish someone told her that pop-ifying punk songs makes them...Kidz Boppy
 
It's still kinda my fave so far? Chorus should have had more going on though.

But really I mean I'm sure it'll be an interesting collab if it happens, I'm just having trouble understand Charli's current direction/sound besides "slightly hypocritical sell out craving for a #1 hit single that isn't a collab" and not really enjoying it.

What kinda messery are you implying about the collab of the year?

AHHHHH it's so good!!!! I mean it's pretty much like the live version, so I can't get too hyped, but I'm glad we got it in HQ.
